Agreed.

I'd hate to play poker with Ted Thompson. He'd end up with my money, my credit cards, and my wedding ring and I'd be convinced I won the game.

He'd also have you naked and bent over the table, and you'd say thanks for the lesson Ted. [roflmao]

I read from a few places that the only reason Nick Collins needed the surgery was to have a chance to play in the NFL again. That he could have went without it and lived a 'normal' life.

Financially, I think he could afford it, lol.

He could've also afforded two weeks worth of acupuncture.

Packers | Won't meet with Nick Collins before draft

Wed, 18 Apr 2012 07:10:05 -0700

The Green Bay Packers will not meet with FS Nick Collins (neck) to determine his future until after the NFL Draft, according to his agent, Alan Herman. Collins hasn't received all the medical advice he needs to make a decision about whether to continue playing football following the single-fusion surgery on his neck last September. "All the opinions aren't in, and I think he's getting another opinion," Herman said. "That doctor was not available. He was on vacation, so I'm hopeful soon. But I think he's got another meeting with one of the doctors."

Packers | Chad Clifton taking part in workouts

Wed, 18 Apr 2012 14:33:25 -0700

Green Bay Packers OT Chad Clifton (back) is taking part in offseason workouts and has been rehab from back surgery he had earlier this offseason. It appears the team will give Clifton the chance to win a starting job during training camp.

When asked whether Nick Collins’ situation and his uncertain return from neck fusion surgery last September makes it necessary to draft a safety, Ted Thompson said: “We don’t feel like we have to target a particular position. That’s not what we do.”

No kidding it won't, cuz you already know! ;-)

Too bad it won't be with the Packers, or maybe they could sign him back once he is football healthy again.

"RT @jasonjwilde The #Packers have released Nick Collins, according to agent Alan Herman"

Cheesey (2h) : Smokey! Darn spell check! LOL!
Cheesey (2h) : Hey smiley! Just saw your shout out! How bout them Packers!
Smokey (2h) : Hello Cheesey !
GoPack1984 (5h) : I hope not. Please be something like 41-28 Packers.
uffda udfa (5h) : I agree with Chmura. This looks like a double 40 burger.
uffda udfa (5h) : The hug on the sidelines?
uffda udfa (5h) : What seemed so emotional?
Zero2Cool (6h) : No, but I am curious why that seemed so emotional. I might be reading into it too much.
uffda udfa (6h) : Anyone ever get confused looking at Alex Van Pelt thinking it's MM?
uffda udfa (8h) : I hope they aren't going to dial it down believing in destiny .
Zero2Cool (8h) : Jason Wilde: Packers "feel like a team of destiny"
uffda udfa (10h) : They'll need all the Julio Joneses they can get.
Zero2Cool (10h) : Chmura: "I'll tell you this: Atlanta's going to score 40 points. They are. The #Packers are going to have to score 41."
Zero2Cool (15h) : Damn-Falcons coach Dan Quinn tells reporters that WR Julio Jones (foot) will be limited this week but will be “ready to rock” on Sunday.
Zero2Cool (15h) : Packers defense has a red zone INT in each of the last 3 games... Hyde with two of them. (One being the clutch 4thQ INT vs DET in Week 17)
Zero2Cool (17h) : Randall Cobb, Damarious Randall, Quentin Rollins, James Starks, Clay Matthews, Ty Montgomery & Jared Cook. OUT
Zero2Cool (17h) : Packers inactive list when they lost 33-32 to the Falcons week 8.
Zero2Cool (18h) : There is no emphasis, it's just a little bit of info. Take it or leave it. No harm.
Smokey (18h) : Zero, I believe that you and some others place too much emphasis upon data. no harm intended.
Zero2Cool (18h) : It’s the 1st time since 1970 all 4 conference championship teams finished the regular season on winning streaks of 4+ games
TheKanataThrilla (18h) : Salt mine. Love it.
TheKanataThrilla (18h) : The refs kept that game close. We should have blown them out early.
DarkaneRules (18h) : Hyde and Gunter are special and I'm hopeful D Ran gets back to where he can be
mi_keys (19h) : That whole forum is a salt mine. It's beautiful.
Zero2Cool (19h) : Burnett's back up, Kentrell Brice lead team in tackles.
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : Hilarious reading below. I like Carter. Only guy who gets it.
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : http://boards.dallascowboys.com/topic/71647-so-we-are-supposed-to-believe/#entry3978081
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : Great news.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Jordy has "legitimate hope" to play, per @RobDemovsky.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Packers had one call on defense if called, no issue, wans't called. I didn't watch OL so dunno. I watched WR's
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Dallas OL had some holds weren't called and 2 defensive holds, not called.
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : I think the Pi vs just a holding call is a legit complaint. Terrible call.
GoPack1984 (16-Jan) : Dallas can't complain about the officials. They got away with so many defensive holding calls.
