Zombie, you have to use the sarcasm smiley for the sake of the dumbasses. Big Grin

I whapped myself on the forehead. How obvious does my sarcasm have to be? Oh yeah, wasn't VR a teacher in his non-retired years? That would explain it.

My word. The Green Bay Packers have NEVER scored 500+ points. Then Aaron Rodgers leads us to 560 points and people are bitching about our O.

That's equivalent of a rock star bitching about only having 15 hot groupies a night. Where's the 16th? God dammit! Where's the 16th?

The offense could easily have been better without even improving the running game.

Just cut the drops in half.

Rodgers could have completed 72.3% of his passes (Single season league record) had 51 TDs (single season league record) 3 picks (single season league record) and a rating in the 130s (beating the single season league record he set anyway).

I don't think many people understand how incredible of a season he had. He had one of the best single seasons of all time. At least top 6. And definitely best in the super bowl era.

Yup, and if we added runs, we wouldn't have scored 560 points. Not the O's fault that the D couldn't get sacks or tackle people.

Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy realize this. That's why we went D in the draft and we didn't waste any picks on the running game.

I would say the drops hurt us more than the D.

That D completely relied on takeaways. Against the Giants, we got one INT and no forced fumbles and promptly lost, allowing 37 points.

How is it the O's fault when the D allows 37 points?

I want to see every play a running play ...

... but only if our RB is Kate Becksindale and she's wearing the shorts from that picture.
None of the above. It wouldn't have been a wasted vote. Obama and Romney -- Those were the wasted votes.

I think it matters little who the running back is as long as Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback ... he'll get 4 yards more a carry on average.

But if it's Kate, who cares about what Aaron Rodgers does or does not do?

I'm with Wade. Who cares if we run the ball... or, about football for that matter...?

Because the O had 8 dropped passes and turned the ball over 4 times. Those stopped drives and gave the Giants a short field. Granted our D was weak, but with the O's performance(or lack there of) I'm surprised the D kept us in it til the 4th quarter.

True, and being able to use up the clock instead of fast passing drives takes the ball away from the other team's offense.

Yeah, we already discussed this though. I'm in agreement about the drops. Had the D done their job, we would have won the game. Had our receivers caught Aaron's passes, we would have won the game.

The Giants were the hungrier team. I think we were looking past them.

That said, I'm thinking in the grand scheme of things. #1 O. #19 D. Doesn't take a genius to figure out which one needs the most improvement.

As for Wade, we're usually in agreement about babes. However, Ms. Kate doesn't do it for me as much as some of the others he has the hots for.
