When Reggie Bush was about to be drafted I seen some comparing him to Barry Sanders. I kinda like Barry Sanders and this piqued my interest. I watched a lot of highlights of him and he never ran between the tackles worth a damn. Reggie Bush forte was his speed on getting to the edge. When he ran in the middle he was down rather quickly. I believe I said he would never get 1,000 yards rushing in the NFL.
15 games, 216 carries, 1,086 yards, 5 yards per carry, 76 for longest carry and six TD's rushing.
I don't expect anyone to care bout this thread ... just pointing it out because it struck me as a surprise that Bush ran for 1,000 yards in a pass happy NFL.
Edit, found the post... I said he wouldn't ever be an every down back and wouldn't make it into the Hall of Fame for his rushing ability.

Reggie Bush's question mark to me has always been his durability. I always thought he could run for a 1000 yards if he stayed healthy for a full season. Having some great run blockers ahead of him didn't hurt either.
