Personally I liked having the shout box available to watch whenever I was inside the forums, but that's me.
And I never really was a big user anyway. |
None of the above. It wouldn't have been a wasted vote. Obama and Romney -- Those were the wasted votes. |

Do we have a suggestion box somewhere where I can slide an anonymous slip of paper with a tiny little suggestion? |

When I click the name of a thread, it brings me to the first post. Can you make it so it takes me to the last post instead? Yes, I know there is a button all the way over on the right side of the forum that says 'take me to last post' but it's tiny and it's way over there. My instinct due to many years of forum use tells me to click the thread title. I do it every time, which always results in at least 1 more click to get to where I want to be. Not a big deal, just figured I would mention it since you are open for suggestions. edit: in other news I just google imaged suggestion box because I am really bored and found this: I find it hilarious. hahaha |

When clicking a topic of a forum, it's always giving you the first post in that topic. phpBB, vBulletin, etc all behave that same way by design. The link on the right (link with topic name) generally brings you to the last post, for some reason, this software (YAF) has two icons (yes small) that accomplish that.
I prefer clicking the link on the right and going to the last post, but grew "used to" the little icons lol |

Hmm just tested it on my other forum and you are right, at least when you have the subforum open anyways. On vbulletin, when you have yet to open any subforums, when you click a thread name it automatically defaults to the last read post. Once you open a subforum and you click on the thread title, it does in fact bring you to the first post. Kind of odd how doing the same thing will result in different behaviors, depending on where you are doing it from.
Anywho, now that I have realized I do actually click page numbers, and the little buttons on my other forums (bugs me that I didn't notice I did that until now...) I might as well start doing it here. Apparently, once you get used to it you do it so subconsciously that you don't even realize you're doing it anyways. |

I'm hoping to figure out how to make the link on the right (when viewing the main Index of the forums) it'll bring you to the last post in the thread. Its just kind of low on the priority list, lol. |

Seems to work fine on Android using both chrome and firefox. Chat doesn't work but that's due to lack of java support on Android. |
