Great.. so now beyond the obvious conflict of interest this has directly out of the gate.. now we have another QB slanted view in general on the panel. Quote:Oliver Luck joins NFL safety committeePosted by Mike Florio on August 28, 2012, 2:46 PM EDT Getty Images It’s become popular to ask NFL players whether they’d let their sons play football. So it’s fitting then, for the NFL to receive input on safety matters from a former NFL player whose son plays football at the NFL level. The league announced Tuesday that West Virginia University A.D. Oliver Luck, the father of Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, will join the league’s Player Safety Advisory Panel. Luck played quarterback at West Virginia, and he was a second-round pick of the Houston Oilers in 1982. He spent five years in the NFL. |

You know, if the bigwigs at the NFL weren't so damnned unlikable, they'd not have so many problems with players/referee unions that are just as unlikable. Is there really not anybody equally qualified without a blatant conflict of interest? |

Instead of the "Tuck Rule" we'll have the "Luck Rules." |
