throw all over the yard, and force them to abandon the running game?
not. gonna. happen.
between GBs lame (commpared to last year) passing game, and Seahawks' secondary.. this is a very bad idea.
Kam Chancellor SS 6'3-> pro bowler
Brandon Browner CB 6'4-> pro bowler
Earl Thomas FS-> pro bowler
Richard Sherman CB 6'3-> really good
Marcus Trufant CB -> old vet
maybe the best secondary in the league.. definatly the biggest.
add in one of the best DT combos in Red Bryant(who is Cullen Jenkins 2.0, plays DE as well), and Brandon Mebane. running inside is very difficult.
you may not know all these guys because the national media likes to ignore us waaay out here in the Pacific Northwest, but this D is NOT what GB has feasted on the last few meetings.
also, Seattle is by many acccounts a very signicant home field advantage.

Finley is gonna eat them alive. If he can hang onto the ball.

I think this game will tell us more about the Packers then last week. It will probably be a close game but the Packers should be able to pull out the win.

I much prefer games on Sunday. A Monday night game renders me useless at work because all I think about is the game.

If the Packers hold the Seahaaks to less than 8 points tonight and score more than 22, they'll be in the top five on defense by points.
Packers 23
Seahawks 7

I think if they can rattle Seattle's QB and hold their run game under control, the Packers should be able to win.
They sure have had enough time to prepare!

I'm hoping the D takes another step up and continues to improve. This week stopping the run will be a key while not overlooking Russell. The O has to keep working on getting it together. If Seattle plays a cover 2 it would be great to see Benson get over 100 yds.

One of the big issues that i've noticed is that Driver isn't on the field much. Thus, the focus is on Jennings because Driver isn't flashing across the middle. So, we send Nelson and Jennings up the sidelines and nothing to draw the defense into the middle. Pretty obvious in my mind.

8 sacks in the first half. How many run plays have we called? 2? 3?
Put Harrell in and concede defeat.
What a fucking joke.

Bulaga looks like a buluga whale. Can he move his feet. On one of those sacks, he gave up on his guy as Rodgers was scrambling backwards...then he got sacked. What does he get paid for again?

The defense is holding their own for the 1st half.
McCarthy's play calling is an embarrassment. Apparrently he is trying to hand Seattle the single game sack record.

They need to go to mass protection, run screens, draws, and just damn run the ball. You can only blame the players for so much. They look like crap, but it's on the coach to make adjustments. I know you want to get to the locker room to examine things, but you can adjust on the fly. They haven’t changed up anything. I haven’t been this thoroughly disgusted with Green Bay’s coaching since the ‘09 Tampa game. They’re still in it because the defense is playing their tail off, but win or lose -- they’re several red flags.

There have been red flags on offense dating back to last year. If you get in our WRs faces and have a talented front four, you can beat us.

Wow...we run the ball first play and get good yards...run a few more times and then open it up.
