I just found out that we have tickets for the Semi Final game this Friday night between the Grizzlies and James Madison U in Harrisonburg VA. We leave Thursday am and get back on Saturday.
Look for me on ESPN. I'll be the idiot in Griz wear, with a Russian style fur hat on...ear flaps and all, jumping around like a little kid. The lady next to me beating the crap out of me with her noise clappers will most likely be my wife.........unless I can find a seat in the James Madison coed section. Then it won't be my wife.
Oh, if the camera pans on me, I'll hold up my "Vikings Suck" sign. I take it to every game. Good consversation piece. I wonder why everyone thinks I'm nuts?

Thanks Ironman and Pack93z. We'll have fun, win or lose. It's not about winning, but, how many parties can you attend; how many parties can you disrupt/get sick at/ make a fool of yourself; how many threats on your life can you get in enemy territory; how many coeds can you..........whoops never mind; how many disorderly conduct tickets can you get; can you bribe Harrisonburg VA. police officers; and, can you find the airport/plane back to Missoula afterwards?
Jeez, so much to do and so little time there. Maybe I'll send my wife to the game and I'll terrorize Harrisonburg. That would give me about 3 1/2 extra hours to do some fun things. My buddy Forrest and his wife are going too, so maybe the two of us guys can show Virginia how THE WEST WAS WON. |

I am a Senior at Appalachian State, and have been around for all 3 of our nat'l champs. It was hard for me to see us lose this year, but I knew it was going to end at some point. Good Luck, and Go Griz!

Hey DanJust Dan29, nice to hear from App. State. I thought sure we would be playing you guys this year, but that's how it goes. That Armanti kid is sure something. (can't think of his last name right now) It always seems that App. State, James Madison, Montana, and sometimes Northern Iowa or Cal Poly is in the top 4 year after year.
We'll have fun, and like I said, win or lose it will be a fun trip. |

Yeah Armanti Edwards has been a real treat for Appalachian State. The funny thing is, we have a backup QB who is developing nicely and should be able to fill most of Armanti's shoes. We sure hope so!
JMU is a nice place to watch a game, so I've been told. Good Luck to the GRiz, I WILL be cheering for you now. |
