Another point here, so for those wondering ( [grin1] ).. part time player last season as a rookie figuring out the NFL.. this year a full time player that has figured out that not all guys sell out on every play. He does.. so addition to his talent he is going full tilt every snap. That is a shame on the bulk of NFL players.

He is a beast, no question. A DL version of Clay Matthews III.

As for you QB one beat us this year. Funny, I didn't know any of the referee's from that game played QB and were from Wisconsin.

Well played.. and yes. *

But as I was once taught early in playing games.. it is what it is.

And your record, at the end of the day, is your record. No what ifs or should have been.

It is a matter of focus or attention.

We can, as fans or a team, either accept the hosing and work to offset the future effects in the future of what we can control, or allow it to consume and define us.

It sucks.. it did then, it will tomorrow that we should be 3-2 and not 2-3. But come December we can either be 10-3 and minimize that effect of that bullshit call. Or we can continue to point to it, and have it a focus come December again.

I used to torture myself with the past.. and allowed it to affect me going forward. Why. Screw it.. it is what it is. Next.

We would have to make room on the roster, who would we cut?
Unless someone gets put on IR, Benson?

I posted the same thought on page one.. he is a free agent yet. He might not be a dominate player, but it would give more rotational bodies that can play in the short term.

I believe we still have the IR exemption open.. meaning he goes on the IR with a chance to return yet this season. Not sure what the proper NFL term for that rule is.

Watt also said in an interview that about the 9th game last year the light went on in regards to stringing moves together and counter moves.

rotoworld

Quote:

Packers DL coach Mike Trgovac expects the team to retain LE Ryan Pickett for the 2013 season.
Pickett, 33, brings essentially nothing to the table as a pass rusher, but he is a run-stuffing power pig at left end and nose tackle. "I think Ryan has some more football left in him. I really do," Trgovac said. "I think he definitely has another good year left in him." Pickett is owed $6.1 million in 2013. Jan 18 - 12:37 PM
Source: Green Bay Press-Gazette

cap hit would not be too bad. $500,000 is the prorated portion of the $2 million signing bonus. They could cut him if they had a better option.

Quote:
3/12/2010: Signed a four-year, $24.925 million contract. The deal contains $10 million guaranteed, including a $2 million signing bonus and a first-year roster bonus of $6.4 million. Pickett is eligible for annual $200,000 workout bonuses. Another $700,000 is available through "likely to be earned" incentives. 2013: $5.4 million (+ $500,000 roster bonus due in March), 2014: Free Agent

I say let him play out his last year. He did a better job in the middle than Raji did.
