PFTQuote:His play hasn’t been bad by most people’s standards. He’s completed 68.8 percent of his passes, thrown 10 interceptions and four interceptions through the first four games. That’s good enough for a 97.0 passer rating, good for eighth in the league but well below the 122.5 mark of last season. That leaves Rodgers wanting more from himself. |

Good find. I would have like to hear 12 give more specifics on what he feels he is doing wrong but thats ok. I feel that Rodgers is a bright guy and that bodes well as he will have a better chance of figuring out how to fix the rut. He has the physical skills he just needs to figure out how to get the vision for the best receiver in the play. |

I still think his holding on to the ball more then he needs to. We need quicker and shorter plays. |

I agree with the criticisms expressed by others, but Aaron Rodgers is still performing toward the top of the league even though he's not having the best-season-a-quarterback's-ever-had like he did last year.
If we have to have him having 'best years ever in the history of the game' to win we'd better get used to disappointment--that kind of performance should not be expected to be the norm. |

I watch these replays and the team is playing like crap and the calls are sometimes curious. I see the camera go behind rodgers and the middle of field is empty. It is like the wide receivers go missing or something.

I think the worst stat of all is the sacks. 21 sacks in 5 games. That's going to lead to an injury. needs to get rid of the ball sooner and stop trying to throw a TD every play. I think if he starts looking for 7 yard completions and we throw in a few screens and a lot more check downs, we'll have a completely different team. |
My man Donald Driver (thanks to Pack93z for the pic) 2010 will be seen as the beginning of the new Packers dynasty. |

And here is a prime example. Had he made this play, game over. And it was his fault it wasn't made. Scenario 6:53 left in the game. Down by 1. 2nd & 5 after a long 24 yard Jones reception and a 5 yard Green run. Now for the play breakdown Nelson on the near side, Cobb in the slot, Jones on the far side. 2 deep safeties, one not seen on the near side. Nelson and Jones are each covered. But the DB over Cobb blitzes. Cobb runs a slant and is wide open for a minimum of a 1st down. Also preventing the resulting sack and another sack following that forcing a punt. Now the kicker. Complete that pass, and Cobb is almost guaranteed a TD. |

One thing Aaron is that we all perhaps do not appreciate, he is always accountable. That is special. That is a trait of a true champion and leader.
“My solemn promise is I’m going to work every day to get better. I’m going to clean up some of the things I’m not doing as well as I should. But, the proof is in the pudding. Right now I’m not getting it done. I’ve got to look at myself first,”
-- Aaron Rodgers --
Who the hell uses the word "Solemn" in today's society? That is too cool, and almost biblical of nature.
And after 21 sacks...
Perhaps Arron is a big fan of Gov Bill Owens philosophy
"It is the solemn obligation of a leader always to be a leader. Even when - perhaps especially when - you don't feel like being a leader."
-- Colorado Gov. Bill Owens -- |

Did he get sacked on this play instead? in other news, I stumbled upon a fun fact on twitter just now. I'll copy and paste in order to give the dude credit: Quote: Daniel Bonney @djbonney138 I looked up AR's stats from 2010 and he is better thru the 1st 5 games this year than 1st 5 the year he won SB
food for thought. While Rodgers has obviously not been playing his best, and he has obviously taken sacks on the same plays he had WIDE OPEN receivers, our level of expectation for the man is through the roof. |

But I can tell you nothing has slipped in the way of preparation or the way that I practice or the energy and leadership that I take to it. Which is probably the most frustrating thing. You can't really point to one thing. I just haven't performed as well on Sundays as I'm used to performing. |

And here is proof that Aaron Rodgers checks out PackersHome.com lol Aaron Rodgers wrote:You really have to put it behind you. Monday, you come in a watch the film and after that it’s time to move on, as frustrating as it is. There are some losses that stick with you a little longer, but you really have to be able to refocus quickly. We have a good opponent this week and an opportunity to get to 3-3 – which is where we were in 2010 when we went on a little bit of a run. |
