So gets sacked more when not blitzed and performs better when blitzed. I'll work on those letters then. Quote:Dear Opposing Defensive Coordinator, Please blitz more often. Thank you. Love, The Zombieslayer |
My man Donald Driver (thanks to Pack93z for the pic) 2010 will be seen as the beginning of the new Packers dynasty. |

Honestly, I think Rodgers has more success when he's being blitzed because there's less DBs blanketing the WRs. EVERYONE has had problems getting open this year, if I were playing the packers I'd rush 4 all game long. Rushing 4 is only a problem if your DBs can't shut down the opponent's WRs for 6+ seconds. |

This is what I'm wondering. Last year, Jordy and Gregorious seemed like they were open all day long. Both of them drew attention off of guys like Driver, who ended up being covered by LBs occasionally and of course, Aaron exploited those match-ups. What the hell happened? Are our receivers no longer elite as a group? |

What the hell happened? Are our receivers no longer elite as a group? 1. Greg's not been on the field, and when he has he's been hobbled. He's not a deep threat. 2. #1 allows Jordy to attract the most attention 3. More slants. More slants. 4. More Cobb. More Cobb. But apart from Jones for shaking the dropsies, I don't think any WR or TE is playing up to expectations this year. And Rodgers hasn't been as accurate which compounds the issue. |

What the hell happened? Are our receivers no longer elite as a group? I don't think it's a matter of not getting open. The group of players this year aren't just insync as they were last year. That being the offense. New center, new running back, and a lot of pieces moving around like Randall Cobbs new role. We just need to gel and figure out what our identity is. We're missing Greg and not having him on the field shows up. I can't blame them for not getting open entirely. It's also on Aaron and the Offensive Line. Teams think we can't run the ball so they sit back in 2 deep safteys man under often. I still think we're an elite group with the emergance of Cobb. We just need to do different things and establish a running game so we become less predictable and keep our defense from trying to be the hero of every game.

And why don't they have anyone going over the middle, like Driver ALWAYS did? DD always made a big play on those quick throws. You have Cobb, who could do it too.
Jones has always been a good guy for those crossing routes. With Jennings out, he has had to run other routes |
The world needs ditch diggers to Danny!!! |

I don't know if Mike said that in his press conference but he definitely mentioned that in our team meeting.
There needs to be a level of professionalism that is current through the entire team from the veterans to the rookies that they kind of understand how each part of the day adds to the preparation. And I think it definitely can be improved on their standpoint from an assignment and a tempo side of practice. |

Aaron Rodgers picks up the blitz better then any other QB in the league. Now the fact that Aaron Rodgers gets more sacked when his not being blitzed only surfaces other questions for me.
1- Does it mean our offensive line is that bad? 2- Does Aaron Rodgers keeps the ball longer then he needs too? 3- Are our WR's overrated and can't get open?
It could be all of the above ... |

ESPN just did a thing on Rodgers and they were saying the same thing alot of us have been saying, and that he is holding on to the ball to long and that he is not hitting the open guys in the middle of the field. |
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be :) |
