It's comments like this, that make me like certain players.

-- When asked whether he needed a game like he had against the Texans, Nelson said: “For what?” --

JORDY NELSON said:
(On if he needed a game like this) "I'm fine. Obviously, you'll take it. You want to do what you're supposed to do to help the team win. And when your number gets called, you have to make the play. That's all there is that happened today. It's no different. In our room all we do is preach to make the most of your opportunities, and I think we did that tonight."

If only J. Finley would make comments like that...and catch the damn ball when it smacks him in the hands.

But back on topic, yes, I agree these comments seem to indicate Jorday is "Packer people"

J Finley can not make comments like Jordy Nelson because Jermichael is not intelligent enough to understand that concept, and if he does understand it, he is not intelligent enough to explain.

Even though Jordy Nelson ties for team lead on drops, he stays humble, even after he snags three touchdowns. You just have to respect that. I can't wait to sport my Nelson jersey.

If there is one baseball player who brought the same workman-like attitude to his game that Jordy Nelson does, it would have to have been Craig Counsell. That guy won two World Series rings, doing all the stuff he was supposed to do, playing hard, running everything out, etc. Jordy Nelson is very similar in his approach. A "Pros Pro" all the way. Let's his play do all the talking.

I'm not one for superstition, but Sunday night was the first time this season I wore my Jordy Nelson jersey. Just sayin'...

Its nice to see a humbling response from Jordy Nelson. He played a heck of a game Sunday night.

Also, that little guy in my avatar (my son)...his name is Jordy. So, I also like Jordy Nelson...haha.

Jordy has been one of my favorite players since he was drafted. It was great seeing him perform like this as the #1 receiver. Hope he can keep it up.

I think Sunday night was a combination of offensive balance and having all three receivers (Cobb, Jones, and Nelson) play really well.

Running the ball furthered the stress applied to the defense with all three receivers catching the damn ball when thrown in their direction. The Texans where caught in the spin cycle.. can't cover it all.

But I truly respect the way Nelson seems to carry himself.. along with Jones & Driver.. humble and get that they are blessed to be in the situation they find themselves in after years of hard work. They seem to appreciate the life they live.

Cheesey (42m) : Hey smiley! Just saw your shout out! How bout them Packers!
Smokey (58m) : Hello Cheesey !
GoPack1984 (4h) : I hope not. Please be something like 41-28 Packers.
uffda udfa (4h) : I agree with Chmura. This looks like a double 40 burger.
uffda udfa (4h) : The hug on the sidelines?
uffda udfa (4h) : What seemed so emotional?
Zero2Cool (4h) : No, but I am curious why that seemed so emotional. I might be reading into it too much.
uffda udfa (4h) : Anyone ever get confused looking at Alex Van Pelt thinking it's MM?
uffda udfa (6h) : I hope they aren't going to dial it down believing in destiny .
Zero2Cool (6h) : Jason Wilde: Packers "feel like a team of destiny"
uffda udfa (8h) : They'll need all the Julio Joneses they can get.
Zero2Cool (9h) : Chmura: "I'll tell you this: Atlanta's going to score 40 points. They are. The #Packers are going to have to score 41."
Zero2Cool (14h) : Damn-Falcons coach Dan Quinn tells reporters that WR Julio Jones (foot) will be limited this week but will be “ready to rock” on Sunday.
Zero2Cool (14h) : Packers defense has a red zone INT in each of the last 3 games... Hyde with two of them. (One being the clutch 4thQ INT vs DET in Week 17)
Zero2Cool (15h) : Randall Cobb, Damarious Randall, Quentin Rollins, James Starks, Clay Matthews, Ty Montgomery & Jared Cook. OUT
Zero2Cool (15h) : Packers inactive list when they lost 33-32 to the Falcons week 8.
Zero2Cool (16h) : There is no emphasis, it's just a little bit of info. Take it or leave it. No harm.
Smokey (16h) : Zero, I believe that you and some others place too much emphasis upon data. no harm intended.
Zero2Cool (16h) : It’s the 1st time since 1970 all 4 conference championship teams finished the regular season on winning streaks of 4+ games
TheKanataThrilla (16h) : Salt mine. Love it.
TheKanataThrilla (16h) : The refs kept that game close. We should have blown them out early.
DarkaneRules (17h) : Hyde and Gunter are special and I'm hopeful D Ran gets back to where he can be
mi_keys (17h) : That whole forum is a salt mine. It's beautiful.
Zero2Cool (17h) : Burnett's back up, Kentrell Brice lead team in tackles.
uffda udfa (22h) : Hilarious reading below. I like Carter. Only guy who gets it.

uffda udfa (23h) : Great news.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Jordy has "legitimate hope" to play, per @RobDemovsky.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Packers had one call on defense if called, no issue, wans't called. I didn't watch OL so dunno. I watched WR's
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Dallas OL had some holds weren't called and 2 defensive holds, not called.
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : I think the Pi vs just a holding call is a legit complaint. Terrible call.
GoPack1984 (16-Jan) : Dallas can't complain about the officials. They got away with so many defensive holding calls.
