Im looking forward to see whatelse we have a ILB, too me Smith looked short, slow and chubby when on the field.
He might be the best we have, but i doubt the drop off is significant.

In such a great game the injuries were a real downer. I had to get up and leave the room each time. We could use a little luck with Perry and Shields.

Brad Jones was pretty good in coverage at OLB, his main problem seem to be, he just wasn't very good in pass rushing or containment. ILB might be a lot better position for Jones and I thought he played pretty well there.

Beast, I thought Brad Jones played well after Smith went down too. Really nice surprise. Wow, if this player pans out as the starting MLB alongside Hawk, it would be remarkable. I had pretty much given up on him, but man, really liked his play at MLB Sunday night. He has a totally different quality as a MLB. Jones has got some speed, and some length. This could be really good.

As Matthews said, the NFL needs to start protecting defensive players like they do offensive players.
It shouldn't matter which side of the ball you are on.

The cut block should have been outlawed in the game way before the insulation within the invisible bubble wrapping of the Quarterback. That single block has taken out many a player.. sure knees today can be fixed, but the guts of a football team plays in the box. Protect them.

Get cut once.. and you will want to rip the guys facemask off and shove it down his throat. Chicken shit.

Packers RB Alex Green was limited in Wednesday's practice with a shoulder injury.
Green wasn't known to be hurt, but coach Mike McCarthy said Tuesday he'll continue to carry a "full load," so his injury must be extremely minor. Green has a tough matchup in the Rams' improved run defense, but his expected workload makes him a solid flex option.

Yeah, that was a cheap shot and unnecessary. Hope that dude feels bad about himself for that. When I saw the replay it really pissed me off. Surprised more people haven't mentioned something about it.
