Listening to Aaron Rodgers Tuesday conversation and he stated referee's will add/remove air from the footballs. Why the hell is this allowed? |

I know they check the air pressure before kickoff of all balls (I believe outdoor games have more available balls and indoor).
So are they adjust them before the game for consistency?
Or is he saying during play? |

Or is he saying during play? He said that each crew will take air out or put air in them, depending on their own preference. I presume before the game starts. I just don't understand what the hell gives them the right to change air pressure. I figured there was a set pressure that all balls had to be inflated to. It just seems odd. Although, I bet Finley could use this an excuse. |
