The numbers from ProFootballFocus suggest Jermichael Finley is not being overly force fed the ball. Three guys within one target and of course Jordy Nelson running away with 11 more targets. Also, this might add some evidence why Donald Driver isn't targeted more too. Please keep Driver on the bench as much as possible. There should be VERY few packages where Driver is on the field over Jennings, Nelson, Jones, or Cobb. I would usually say Finley too, but Finley doesn't seem to be very good anymore. Perhaps Driver could replace him in some packages. |

Here is a pretty good summary of Finley (partially pertaining to drops) from Jersey Al. Source...Quote:For Green Bay Packers fans, there has been no more controversial player during the past few years than tight end Jermichael Finley. His boisterous personality and recent penchant for dropped passes have clashed significantly with the perception of his physical talents and work ethic. And while we like to believe that on-field performance trumps off-field attitude, there’s no bigger catalyst for the disgruntled fan than when both start to head south. |

Packer Report @PackerReport
Every day at practice, I watch Fontenot fire one ball after another to Finley during ST segments. Amazing he struggles in games. |

James Jones had this a few years ago. Yes, and a lot of us (myself included) were looking to trade JJ. Now, most of us (myself included) want to keep JJ. We're forgiving people. Just catch the ****** ball, Finley. |
My man Donald Driver (thanks to Pack93z for the pic) 2010 will be seen as the beginning of the new Packers dynasty. |

But it was an over the shoulder catch, and imo he just couldn't find it. When he can turn and face the QB, he's much better. |

When he can turn and face the QB, he's much better. Yeah, that's something he's gonna have to learn though as it will be playing to his strengths. JJ is a damn good deep threat and will be that much better if he can start catching the over the shoulder passes. |

When he can turn and face the QB, he's much better. Not sure I can agree with that. I do think he has a problem with throws where he has to look back over his LEFT shoulder. He seems fine over his right. Look at the one he caught OB in the endzone. But you can't look at the over throw. His hands were in position, the ball was just to deep. |
The world needs ditch diggers to Danny!!! |
