We just play more unified without him in the line up. That is my stance. I don't know what it is, but when he's out, we seem to come together. I think when Quarless comes back there is little need to keep him if we can get a great trade done. I like the guy, but I don't think he fits in with this locker room very well. I think there is a disconnect.

Not worth the 4.7 bonus he's due this offseason.
It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get back up again.

Quote:
"First off, for Jermichael even to play in the game I think says a lot about him," McCarthy said. "I know the training staff didn’t think he was going to be able to play after his exam Sunday and even Monday morning (prior to the Houston game).

"For what he did between Monday and Friday to get on the field and show he could do it is a huge credit to Jermichael."

I think it's pretty significant that MM's standing behind Finley like this. Says alot about how he feels about him.

Every day at practice, I watch Fontenot fire one ball after another to Finley during ST segments. Amazing he struggles in games.

I get frustrated with JMike but WHEN he is on he can be a game changer.

Mike does not deal with his players in the media. He may well have talked to Jer Mike in private.

I don't like that he called it a system. Not talking

Is it just me, or has Finley slowed down a LOT? Before his injury, I remember him streaking down the field... Not as fast as Jennings or Cobb, but definitely with great speed for a TE. Now, it seems like he's lumbering around out there and not getting any separation.
