Since we ripped Finley.. might as well post the positive things he says about Rodgers. He also talks about be frustrated at times with drawing doubles and triple coverages.. but the writer choose the opportunity to frame it as Finley wishes double teams on teammate. What a punk ass title from the writer.. just trying to draw attention to their piece. Finley wishes double-teams on teammateIt is the reality of the situation.. Finley gives us value in the passing game by drawing attention, drops or not. He is a physical freak, and it scares the crap out of the D. Coordinators. Quote:But this week, Rodgers, who has thrown nine touchdown passes and no interceptions in the past two games, received a ton of praise from his tight end.
"He's playing like it's Xbox right now," Finley said. "So he can throw it to anybody he wants. You have to sit back and wait until it shifts your way. That's what I'm doing, and keeping my head up.
"I think the chemistry's coming along with me and '12' (Rodgers). It's going to get there. One game it's [Greg] Jennings, or one game it's [James] Jones. It'll shift back to the tight end, guaranteed." |

I try to post positive things, but folks find holes in it and rip it apart. Edit, I'm with Rios, I watch an listen to interviews in full and as I've been saying, people trust these idiotic writers who take bits an pieces and make mountains out of anthills and the masses just eat it up! Here's Finley talking about the 30 minute sessions day prior to the game between he and Aaron Rodgers. Jermichael Finely wrote:It's just going over routes, what he wants me to do on this route, if they cover me this way, this is what he wants me to do, if they're playing off … it's just detailed. Real detailed. It's awesome, especially with a guy like 12, where he's really detailed and really dug into what he does with his craft.
I'm a fan of him, man. I love him. True or not, I'd rather these words be kept in private, lol. But I love the last part. Blow that scoreboard up! Jermichael Finley wrote:I think we can really do some damage. We can't play down to Jacksonville's level. I'm talking about, blow that scoreboard up. I watch the videos where he talks and it comes off nothing like people make it out to be when the quote is taken out of context. |

Don't really want him to be talking down about opponents. He's right but that's something he shouldn't do. The rest is fine |

He better be focused because it's coming now. If Jordy is out we need this guy to step up and make the hard catches.
My guy this weekend though if Jordy doesn't go is Boykin. I think he gets the weakest coverage and comes through with 5 catches for 58 yards.

Passing on madden is actually ridiculously hard and I can't imagine anyone puts up numbers like this. Linebackers can jump 16 feet in the air to pick off shit. |

Switch up your routes, pay attention to the safeties. The first few games I struggled but after a bit you an pick apart the defenses with ease. |

To be fair...
The fact is writers do not write the headlines for their story. It is the editors who write the headline. The scribes just submit the story.
I know this because my brother is an editor of a news paper. Last year he won the Canadian press award for best headline writing in the news category. |

Out here in the States, most of the editors have been laid off. I kid you not. Writers are actually editing their own stuff. And we wonder why our newspapers all of a sudden got so bad... |
My man Donald Driver (thanks to Pack93z for the pic) 2010 will be seen as the beginning of the new Packers dynasty. |
