The injury should make it easier to resign Jennings if the team wants to. Every missed game lowers his price. Only question is, how low does it need to go? Jordy and Jones are both getting around the 3 million next year. Where does Greg need to be, to be affordable? 5 million? |

Jordy Nelson will be held out of practice again on Friday, and won't test his hamstring until Saturday or Sunday. The hamstring pull "sounds a little worse than first thought," says the Green Bay Press-Gazette. If he's not going to test the hamstring before the weekend, Nelson's best-case scenario is a game-time decision. |

Could the Jag game be a trap? What if both the Packers and bears both lose respectivly to the Jags and Panthers? |

I say we let Jordy sit this week. He's not 100% so let's not risk him hurting the hamstring even more. Plus we got the bye week coming up. Let him get rested and come back completely healthy for the rest of the season. |

My man Donald Driver (thanks to Pack93z for the pic) 2010 will be seen as the beginning of the new Packers dynasty. |

The only games that really make me nervous are against top 5 or bottom 5 teams. Either the Packers are playing a very good team and can't afford too many mistakes, or are playing a bad team with something to prove and are in danger of being caught sleeping. |

He looks injury prone, which might turn off other teams from offering him the big bucks. |

Surgery delayed.
“Exactly when he will go?” McCarthy said. “That has not been determined yet.” |

One would think they would want to get this finished as soon as possible. An extra week to heal/play is somewhat critical. Each game is extremely important to us since the refs/league stole the Seattle game and Chicago pulled one out of the fire last week maintaining a 2 game lead. If they have a 1 game lead when we play them, then our fate is in our own hands. If they have a 2 game lead it probably won't matter much. |

SF will take them down (there is your 1 game lead.) But first they face Houston. Chicago always seems to lose once to Minny. That is 3 losses before they have their rematch with GB. 4 losses and Cutler sucking his thumb once again. |

You make a good point and I would like to see that happen. But I wouldn't pencil those losses in. We have our own tough games. It isn't easy to beat Division foes twice and we have the Giants away in addition to those. |

I will channel Madden here and say that the best way to make the postseason is to win all your games. Packers can't worry about what the Bears or Vikings are doing unless we're playing them - We have the talent to compete with anybody, and when we're not so severely battered on offense, beat anybody anywhere. No excuses for failure. Packers sweep the Bears and Vikings, that's one more loss for the Bears and two for the Vikings. |

I think the doctors of Philadelphia have more pressing issues than to get Greg Jennings in for surgery. But I understand your point, one would think that there would be alternatives that they could turn to now with the East having Mother Nature issues at the moment. |
