Great privilege for one of my old teams (Merseyside Nighthawks) players at todays Wembley game. John Roberts is running the opposite side to the chains holding the yardage to get marker on the alternate line.

Quite a few othe Nighthawks are also involved gathering the additional stats for the TV like QB hurries and knockdowns.

I'm watching the Wembley game on the TV and the Packers game on the net. Can't get the stream on here any more due to my pc being 9 years old and out of date.

Tough job. He has to get the correct spot. Would get some stick (sorry British coloquialism for abuse) if a player reaches for the spot where he is and is short because he has the stick half a yard short.

Flep.. I can't see the image.. permission issue.

But that is pretty cool for those guys.. a little taste of the Americana linked with sports.
People gather bundles of sticks to build bridges they never cross.
