If the Packers make a move to acquire a back.. this options seems more realistic in my mind.

I don't think they would trade him with their starter injured nor would the Packers be interested in the middle of the season because he doesn't known the system and they got healthy QBs (so far), but I've always liked QB Matt Moore and wanted to sign him after the Panthers let him go. He seems to be a very good back-up.

?

I was exclusively talking about Blount as a back.. the Packers are not in the market for a QB. Nor should they be unless they have to acquire one. Even then.. the PS would be raided first.

Well, you may be right, but that still doesn't mean you're not crazy. [grin1]

Hope you and yours are OK. I've seen pictures and video. Pretty scary to be in NY right now.

ty zombie, it was pretty scary yesterday 75-80 miles a hr winds in my backyard, thankfully no real damage, but not the case for my surrounding neighborhoods, the damage was devastating to say the least !!

While I don't totally believe Fisher, and as much as i like Stev Jackson.

IF we were to do a trade, Williams (CAR) I believe has alot less miles on him because he has split carries for a few years. And Blount is younger than both and has shown some flashes of impressive talent...

one of which we ALL remember...

Blount

that said, Mike McCarthy hasn't shown a willingness to make drastic changes to personell during the season, and has no history that I know of of teaching an offense mid-season.

possibly all 3 will be available AFTER the season, and although I fully expect a new RB next year, Ted Thompson will want one of his own.

Man looking back at that play, Erik Walden had some wheels.. If he didn't jog in the middle of that play he would of got Blount.

I would love to get blount acutally.. a lot less money and he's young.

All that play reminds me of is how glad I am we've dramatically improved the tackling this year. Major props to the coaching staff and the players, it's been a HUGE embarrassment the last several years.

Blount's a cannonball, on and off the field.

Can anyone be specific as to Blount's problems while he's been a pro?

Alleged Assault in 2011 - off field. But there was some questions about that claim.

Punch in training camp with the Titans. But nothing more than the usual training camp emotions.

Nothing overly damning. Anyone that wanted Lynch (me included), he had more baggage than Blount. Kid has made mistakes.. mostly emotions out of check, but he paid his penalty in college for the "punch".

Zero2Cool (1h) : Read what I said about Hail Mary plays and referees letting players play. Got it? Good.
Zero2Cool (1h) : I absolutely would not. Don't dare presume to speak for me. WTF.
uffda udfa (1h) : Had it been other way around I would've been screaming and so would u.
uffda udfa (2h) : It's just true. I try hard to see it and tell it like it is. Was OPI.
Zero2Cool (4h) : which is of course ok, i just personally see it as weird.
Zero2Cool (5h) : Just odd that a Packers fan points out when Packers perceived to get away with something, yet ignore opponent. Weird.
Zero2Cool (5h) : Packers added RB Christine Michael (back) to the injury report as questionable
uffda udfa (5h) : Not diminishing anything. He got away with OPI. Didn't notice before. Was in airport.
Zero2Cool (7h) : Bahahahahahahha GO PACK GO!!!!
Zero2Cool (7h) : when you're buying your Super Bowl LI Champion gear, be critical of that too!
Zero2Cool (7h) : keep trying to diminish what the Packers have done and ...
Zero2Cool (7h) : one... that's just how it goes. They let the players play. But go ahead
Zero2Cool (7h) : Everyone knows on the hail mary type passes, those little shoves won't be called. Think replacement refs 2012. So, no did not get away with
Dulak (7h) : ya I think they mentioned that U U ... but you see this alot - even in the dallas game they pushed off at least 1 time (they as in dallas)
uffda udfa (14h) : Just rewatched Cobbs hail mary catch in slo mo...he should've been flagged for OPI. Got away with one.
uffda udfa (16h) : Nope. I like Gus.
beast (17h) : Did you want Anthony Lynn as HC? Cushion Bradley was going to follow Lynn where ever.
uffda udfa (18h) : Gus Bradley is new DC in SD/LA. I would've loved to had him here in Green Bay.
uffda udfa (22h) : It's just fine.
musccy (22h) : 5 questionable Packers, none for Falcons. Not good.
uffda udfa (22h) : Jordy not listed as OUT or DOUBTFUL. Questionable on injury report.
uffda udfa (23h) : This is the 6th straight game we've faced someone for the 2nd time. We learn.
uffda udfa (23h) : Aaron: I like our role. I like our chances. (said he relishes being an underdog)
uffda udfa (23h) : Aaron alludes to fake crowd noise at Georgia Dome for Sunday.
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : So, to recap. Losing streak "just the way it is", winning streak "astronomical feat". #Balanced
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : Ironically, he called the turn around "astronomical" not just the way it is in the NFL. #Don'tMissTheIrony
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : Ted tells Demovsky the Packers weren't underachieving when 4-6. Just the way it is in the NFL????
