Week 7 (Rams)
Shields, Sam CB Shin / Ankle DNP DNP DNP Out
Week 8 (Jags)
Shields, Sam CB Ankle DNP DNP DNP Out
People are getting upset because Shields is out because of a shin... but from the start it looked like more.
I was looking at nfl.com. Perhaps they just truncate to only one body part.

This just in...
Shields still injured.
According to an intern at Packer HQ, Junior "Stubby" Bellichecked, Sam Shields is still on the injured list. "Sam's still got a problem, we're pretty sure it's in one of his legs, that's keeping him off the field."

This. He was kicked in the shin AND his leg then buckled. It was always going to be at least few weeks.

McCarthy at podium-Jordy Nelson will be a Sunday decision, he was pushed further today than all week. See how he is Saturday morning.

I don't like this list ...
Packers safety Jerron McMillian has a back injury, which was why he didn't participate in practice. He was listed as questionable.
Donald Driver, WR Neck / Thumb Full Participation Probable
Jermichael Finley, TE Shoulder Full Participation Probable
B.J. Raji, DT Ankle Full Participation Probable
Aaron Rodgers, QB Calf Full Participation Probable
T.J. Lang, G Elbow / Wrist Full Participation Probable
Mike Neal, DE Ankle Limited Participation Probable
Jordy Nelson, WR Hamstring Did Not Participate Questionable
John Kuhn, FB Hamstring Did Not Participate Out
Greg Jennings, WR Groin / Abdomen Out
Nick Perry, LB Knee / Wrist Did Not Participate Out
Sam Shields, CB Ankle Did Not Participate Out
Charles Woodson, DB Collarbone Out
Jerel Worthy, DE Concussion Did Not Participate Out

Hate the fact that Kuhn is out again.
Really think him not being in there effects the run game.
Let's hope packers can get through this week without any more injuries and get a win.
The bye week can't come fast enough.

Quote:No matter how many players will be ruled out for this Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals, the Packers are fielding a team of walking wounded. In his Friday press conference, coach Mike McCarthy announced the team's injury report for this week's game.
OUT
WR Greg Jennings (groin/sports hernia)
FB John Kuhn (hamstring)
OLB Nick Perry (knee)
CB Sam Shields (shin/knee)
DB Charles Woodson (collarbone)
DE Jerel Worthy (concussion)
QUESTIONABLE
WR Jordy Nelson (hamstring)
S Jerron McMillian (back)
PROBABLE
WR Donald Driver (neck)
TE Jermichael Finley (shoulder)
G T.J. Lang (elbow/wrist
QB Aaron Rodgers (calf)
DE Mike Neal (ankle)
NT B.J. Raji (knee)
With the Packers' roster sitting at 52 players, six players sitting out would put the team at the maximum 46. That means that if Nelson or McMillian need to sit out, the Packers would be playing at least a man down. The only other possibility would be if Ted Thompson were to activate either OLB Frank Zombo or TE Andrew Quarless to the active roster.
McMillian's injury reportedly happened shortly before practice today, when it "locked up" according to McCarthy. If he can't go, M.D. Jennings would likely take every snap at safety with Davon House playing as the nickel back and likely Jarrett Bush in the dime package.

Man I hope we can get healthy over the bye week. Lang's injury has to hurt his effectiveness on his initial punch, Raji's and Neal's has to hurt their effectiveness also. I'm guessing and hoping some of those are Mike McCarthy just playing it safe and using the bye week as extra time to get healthy. If it were the playoffs I think more of them would play. One of those situations where you could be damned if you do and damned if you don't(play players).
