Zombo, who has missed the entire season with a hamstring injury, was activated from the physically unable to perform list today. He is expected to play tomorrow against the Cardinals.

I think he'll contribute to special teams the most. I don't think Zoro will beat out Moses or Walden anytime soon.

I thought when healthy he was better than Walden. Also Zombo can bull rush better than those two, and might be used at the line some plays like Perry was when he would line up right at the line more like a DL than 3-4 OLB.

Iirc, Zombo's better against the run, Walden's better in coverage, neither can get to the QB.

FORM OF... CLAY MATTHEWS!

Not that I don't like Zombo, but two Clays would be insane.

Walden is definitely better in coverage, but I always thought Zombo was a better pass rusher than him. Although admittedly, it wasn't a huge gap. Even Perry at this point is a better overall player, but the Packers could use all the pass rushing help they could possibly get, so this is a welcomed addition. Perhaps we'll see a little more psycho/heavy LB packages in this game.

When watching DE Daniels... I was thinking he looked like an over weight LB body type, he's quick an agile ... he could make an interesting LB in the psycho package as a LB/DL tweener (clearly not putting him coverages unless it's zone with sure help over the top).

Either way i'm happy our Dline is finally getting pressure. Last year it lacked big time.

I was never overly impressed by Zombo. When he had success we were throwing anybody in and getting the same results. I would like to see Zombo tried at inside like Jones. Upgrade in weight for run support. And like Jones 6'3" wing span better in coverage over Bishop and Smith.

Hey, dude had our only sack in SB XLV. Glad to have him back, and I hope he can contribute the rest of the way.
