Two weeks missing fairly routine FGs. Obviously not a concern for a game like today but a huuuge concern for a close game with the winning score less than a TD. I haven't heard that he has any injuries. Maybe the placeholder and him are not entirely on the same page.

So are Crosby's misses an aberration or something to be concerned about?

Maybe all those long attempts fucked with his head.

not really. It's not like the last time that he was struggling. Then his kicks were starting off bad and just got worse. Now his kicks are on target and hard enough. But then they knuckle, and no telling where it goes. Knuckle balls are usually caused by hitting the ball square, or hard. If he can get a little less of the ball, it shouldn't knuckle like it has been.

Worried about crosby?

no.

I'm worried Ted might get a papercut when he signs Nate Kaeding.

Fix it Mason!

I'm a little worried about his mental state. He seems to normally miss an important kicks with tons of pressure on him... but just seems like his confidence has taken a hit. I think Mike McCarthy use be trying to get him used to the pressure.

Make him do FG kicks... and the whole team (or at least those under 285) have to go gasser right after every miss. That would put some pressure on him... and maybe make the linemen do them too... but maybe shorter distance...

Also make the TE and WR groups do gasser for their drops... they've gotten out of hand (literally)

Kicking the football isn't as easy as you think. Everyone misses from time to time. I'll only begin to worrie if he misses a FG that would give us the lead or tie it late in the game.

Maybe it's time to bring a kicking expert and a sports psychologist in to work with him.

I think he could have tied the Colts game and missed it badly.

beast (3h) : Yeah it's weird, if anything goes wrong the defense and OL get blamed, even if passing game fault
hardrocker950 (5h) : But I put it mostlt on the offense and poor playcalling
hardrocker950 (5h) : I have seen the defense take a lot of flak over the loss..
Cheesey (7h) : Rodgers would have hit open guys. The game plan wouldn't have killed us. Less 3 and outs, and maybe some scores.
beast (7h) : Rodgers wouldn't of abandon attepting to get the ball to Nelson and Adams.
Zero2Cool (7h) : Rodgers with that game plan would have came up short too.
beast (9h) : Yeah the Packers defense got wore out... being on the field so long. Giving longer breathers than 3&out would of helped a lot IMO.
Cheesey (9h) : There wouldn't have been so many 3 and outs, thus keeping our D off the field.
Cheesey (9h) : True, but with the low score we would have had a chance with Rodgers behind center.
Zero2Cool (10h) : Brees is a damn good QB, not giving Capers a pass, not even close.
Zero2Cool (10h) : Saints kicked Packers ass with Rodgers too.
Cheesey (10h) : That's just it. Rodgers needs a DEFENSE as well. And without him, there is NO chance.
beast (11h) : Just fire everyone! Rodgers can do it without them! Hell trade for the healthy Browns players!
Cheesey (13h) : Capers needs to GO. So do players that can't cut it.
Zero2Cool (14h) : Capers presser summed up? INjuries are why we suck. (shut up, coach and adapt)
Zero2Cool (14h) : nearly crapped myself hearing dom capers talk, forgot to close the tab after mccarthy haha
Zero2Cool (14h) : McCarthy said the communication was not good enough on defense yesterday. Injuries in secondary have complicated substitution patterns.
Zero2Cool (14h) : McCarthy again says "I believe in him"... sorry, BS, we saw how you believe in him yesterday.
Zero2Cool (14h) : @The_Green_Gold Highest graded players Kenny Clark & Blake Martinez. It wouldn't be possible to grade an entire defense
Porforis (15h) : Well, it WAS clean until someone 'shouted' in it...
Zero2Cool (15h) : QB Brett Hundley when targeting a WR against Saints: 6-for-15, 54 yards.
Zero2Cool (15h) : clean?
