Packers win 28-10 we contain their rushing attack and get back to forcing turnovers. Get 2 picks 1 FF.

I'd say it's a pretty safe bet. And my betting track record is all over PH.com.

PFT

Looks like the Loins picked up Pat Lee.

Quote:
The Lions have been plagued by injuries in the secondary this season, so being able to acquire a cornerback who was a starter for most of this season has to be welcome news in Detroit.

They don't mention that Lee was a Packer before being a Raider, which may have some significance in their decision to bring him in.

The Lions are 2nd offensively and 10th defensively?!...I totally did not know that. Interesting record for those ranks.

I gotta go with the Packers in a nail biter though. 38-35.

Stats/records can be misleading... teams that are behind normally pass more, passing picks up more yardages than running, and the Lions lead the NFL in pass attempts per game... which is a large reason they're #1 in passing yardage this year (well Calvin Johnson is a bigger reason).

While teams that are ahead normally run it trying to run out the clock.

That's why one year... I think before Woodson, with Harris and Carroll... Harris tried to defend the Packers DB, saying they were doing good by pointing to the stats... the Packers defense were near the top of the list of least amount of passing yards and total yards given up...

But no one seemed to believe it and for good reason... the Packers low amount of passing yardages was because teams didn't need to pass the ball that year, they could run it at will with an injured DL not stopping them... and since they could run at will didn't pass it too much... which is why they had the low yardage that year.

The Lions defense is letting other teams QB complete 66.1% of the passes which is 5th worst for a defense.

Packers defense is 6th best... only letting QB complete 57.1%... best two are Houston Texans (54.5) and Arizona Cardinals (55.4)... (like I said, the Cards have won against all the teams that have tried to throw more than run against them (before the Packers game) but the Packers ran more than passed it... which was surprising but smart)...

The Texans just got out coached... the Texans defense didn't adjust to Rodgers/Packers playing style and got burned... while the Packers did adjust to the Texans playing style and won an important match-ups (OL vs DL)...

Then again... Mike McCarthy didn't adjust to the Seahawks while probably is what costed that game more than the Refs... but the Refs did help too...

Well Mike McCarthy had to adjust something in the 2nd half not giving up a sack after giving up 8 sacks. I think the refs did it all, they took away a int on a bogus roughing the passer on Walden that had us in FG range, Rice held Sam Shields like a baby and called PI on Sam which put them in great field position. And the last play.. [wallme]

You're right Mike McCarthy adjusted in the 2nd half... what i meant was he didn't adjust before going into the game.

The week before playing the Seahawks I pointed out that the Cowboys lost to the Seahawks mainly for two reasons... 1) fumbles on STs 2) no balance on offense... they passed the ball 75% of the time and the seahawks defense knew what was most likely coming were able to pin their ears back and pass rush as hard as they could...
Mike McCarthy did the same thing in the first half... didn't keep the offense balanced letting the Seahawks pin their ears back and rush straight up the field because they knew it was very high chance it was going to be a pass... which hurt the OL pass blocking...

Got to mix it up and keep the other team other team guessing some like they did in the Cards game...

I think the Packers come out over confident and lay an egg in Detroit. The Lions are embarrassed at letting the Vikings score more points than them.

Packers 31
Lions 38

This marks the Packers turn around and they do not lose another game the rest of the season, including a dominating performance in the Super Bowl that gets people talking Packers Dynasty.

Ouch! And here I thought I was your favorite target.

All I know is the Lions will be playing balls out because we are the vultures to their rotting corpses.

Joked that players said Ford Field is a cold dome in pre-game, so he decided to practice them outside today.

Missing early stages of #Packers' practice Friday were TE Andrew Quarless and RB Alex Green. Returning was RB Johnny White.

Heard Quarless had some swelling in the bionic knee.
