Quote:ESPN’s Ed Werder reports that Holmgren would return to coaching for only one job — the Cowboys job. If true, fuck you Holmgren! |

It's the Cows that ruined our '82,'93,'94, and '95 seasons. I bet in '94 or '95, we would have beaten the AFC team. I hate both boys and vikings equally. Edited by member Sunday, November 18, 2012 12:45:23 PM(UTC)

Vikings and Cowboys, not much difference for me. Even worse because during the 90's the Packers always were dead end'd by the Cowboys. I think three years straight the ended the Packers season. For that Packers HC to desire to coach THAT team ... unspeakable. |

My man Donald Driver (thanks to Pack93z for the pic) 2010 will be seen as the beginning of the new Packers dynasty. |

It's big money and a big show. I understand why.
He never had the same loyalty to the Packer's organization that the fans do. |

None of the above. It wouldn't have been a wasted vote. Obama and Romney -- Those were the wasted votes. |

It's a grave mistake to undervalue the importance of Mike Holmgren in developing Brett Favre. |

I mean seriously, some of you care about where Mike Holmgren would coach when we have Mike McCarthy? I KID THE SHIT OUT OF HIM with his lingo and Press conferences, etc. But don't get confused---
We have the best coach in the game. We really do.
I couldn't CARE LESS what Mike Holmgren did or did not do.
If you are talking NFL fucking TRIVIA... well, never mind 'bout the whole rant thing, lol

damn skippy I'm an owner. I currently own a full .00001924537805515393 % of the Green Bay Packers. |

At this point, being so many years removed and his lack of success in Seattle and Cleveland it's no big deal to me. The Packers had Seattle's number when he was there. Holmgren was good for us at one time, but that was a long time ago. I take no issue with it. |

Mike Holmgren is a control freak. Jerry Jones is a control freak. Part of me wants to see it happen, lol. |

I would rank as #3 behind Belichick and Coughlin. But yeah, I'd rank Mike M way above Mike H. has big balls. LOVED that 4th down attempt. I said it in the chat. |

Didn't read thread so forgive me if this was already brought up.....
Why would he want the cowboys job? That's almost the exact opposite of what he asked for in cleveland. Before the ownership change he was basically the guy running the show as Owner/CEO/President, whatever you consider the top. In Dallas he would be nothing but coach and he'd be Jerry Jones' Bitch. Doesn't really seem likely. |

We keep winning games with a shit-box o line. It amazes me. I want to blame him, but I want to give him accolades simultaneously. We shouldn't be this good with the lines we are throwing on the field, imo Aaron Rodgers is of course MY big part of that, but so is our coach, both offensively and defensively. He isn't noisy in the media thing, but I've noted that you (ZS) don't place much weight on that in the 1st place. We just MAY have the best in the business here, and I mean really, without the green and gold goggles on. Personally, I'm in Pennsylvania, so I'm standing back and watching |

I think Holmgren still needs to answer the question of why he quit running the ball in Super Bowl XXXII. Fuckstick cost us the one for the thumb. I would laugh my ass when he took that job and failed - again. |
