My man Donald Driver (thanks to Pack93z for the pic) 2010 will be seen as the beginning of the new Packers dynasty. |

Can't disagree with your point. The only thing I can say is that it is understood that team is implied in these discussions. I would give the play of the game to Bishop for forcing the fumble on Stafford. |

Nothing against how you put it.. or anyone implying it towards Rodgers. Just personally hate the concept. I've never understood the need for 4th quarter comebacks as a criteria for judging QBs. I guess it made Elway a legend so they feel the need to keep that up, but football is a team game, not just the quarterback wins or loses. |

Also, if you're winning the game in the final 2 minutes, that means that you haven't been winning the game in the first 58 minutes. 4th quarter comebacks aren't a useless stat as it's important to be able to be clutch, but it's a terrible way to judge a quarterback. |

Great to get the comeback win. Huge plays by our D to force it, then to hold the lead. My hat is off to Jermichael Finley and Randall Cobb both, along with Rodgers. Awesome plays down the stretch to secure the Win. Those are all confidence builders, not just for those aforementioned, but for the entire team. HUGE!

It is a team effort and a very very mild stat to look upon for a QB as much of the effort is really only fractionally tasked to him. Example.. MD Jennings doesn't pick off the ball and return it in the third, the remainder of the game is altered. If the defense doesn't bow up and hold the Lions to a FG, it never happens. If Finley doesn't split the defenders and ramble down the sidelines, does it happen? If Cobb doesn't yank down that money catch, a throw that was floated into double coverage, does it go down as another Rodgers failure in the 4th. The stat, QB 4th quarter comeback is an insult to the remainder of the team. Period. And I hate it with a passion. |

The stat, QB 4th quarter comeback is an insult to the remainder of the team. Period. And I hate it with a passion. You are right. Imagine if Cobb hadn't made what was an exceptional one-handed catch, while being interfered with! Holy crap! Then, imagine the inverse shit storm Rodgers would have had heaped onto him for not getting the W... That whole comeback kid thing is so misguided, with both Ws and Ls. Our defense gets none of the credit with these scenarios. Granted, Rodgers did an exceptional job in getting our offense to complete 2 scores to steal the Win. He really did. But, I would argue, so did our OL, Starks in protection as well as running, and the other WRs who contributed BIG catches (Jones, Driver). This says nothing about the superb job our entire D laid out yesterday. Fricking A that was awesome! But, the big point you make is these are TEAM wins, for sure. The Packers came back and won it yesterday against Detroit, in their house. Now THAT says a lot!
