Packers will be ultra aggressive on defense in this game.. I expect them to bracket Harvin if he goes and challenge any of the other receivers to beat them. Simpson and his stone hands in particular.
I expect them to run blitz the Vikings a ton, and turn it loose in passing downs. Be wary of the draws but honestly key on AP.
On offense, I expect them to chip Allen and leave the rest fend for themselves. This should be a game to work on protection (I would rejoice if Campen is walked today. :) ).
On grass in Lambeau, this should be a game in which we indeed bounce back some. I truly expect Mike McCarthy to run the ball a ton to try and garner some consistency.

Will Harvin be active?
I would be safe to say.. doubtful.. and if he does play, effectiveness will be a question.
Chicago was just as big of a game for the Vikes as we are.. him not even making the trip speaks some volumes.

Look for Christian Ponder to light it up. 31/40, 420 YDs with 4 TDs. BOOK IT.

With Percy Harvin likely out, I highly doubt the Vikings will get those 380 YAC.

Hello? Christian "The Rocket" Ponder is playing, who cares about some punk named Percy? He makes everyone around him better, has pinpoint accuracy and a cannon for an arm. Hell, throw a bunch of college players out there with him on offense and he'd still probably throw 3 TDs and 300+ yards.

If they have any kind of common sense, they'll take a look at what Bradshaw and Brown did to us last night and just pound Peterson and Gerhart on 1st, 2nd and 3rd down.
Maybe throw a screen or 2.
Although you do make a good point with the whole Rocket Ponder thing.

If they can stop Peterson and Allen they should be able to win this game pretty easily IMO.
Of course you can't stop them but just limit them... one of the OTs is going to have to step up and win some one on ones and both struggle with speed rushes. Allen is a speed rusher and will be on Newhouse side. So come on Lang, step it up this week and moving forward (I know easier said than done).

I would not want to be the Vikings next week! I will be in attendance, and I, being the Packers' good luck charm that I am, have helped the Packers to an 87-16 scoring differential in the two games I have attended. Have no fear fellow fans, although the Packers may be horrible, I have your backs! You're welcome in advance.

I'm looking forward to this game....after yesterday, the Vikings will be a perfect tonic for what ails me (and the Packers)

They will play mad and put up points. That's all I'll say. I haven't seen such a bad performance from the packers in a LONG time. They will not play to this level again this year. That's my prediction. There will be a huge sense of urgency!!

I think the Vikings will be tougher this week, as they are a wounded animal. I for one don't take this game for granted. If the Packers play like they did against the Giants, it could be scary.
Hopefully we will get Jennings and Matthews back. We need those guys.
And hopefully our O-line will learn how to block by this sunday.

I'm just going to assume somebody on the Vikings will have a career day against us.
Jared Allen vs Newhouse... ugh

I think Newhouse will be fine. He is a competitor, and had been our best OL prior to last Sunday. I think he will bounce back. At least, I sure hope so bro! Yikes! We cannot have anymore performances like last week, at any position.

"Grog and the slant".....sounds like a 1960's rock band![grin1]
I admit, the total whipping from last week had me down.
I guess we will see just how badly the Packers want to win by how they react to the butt-whipping they took last week.
If they come out dead like last week, then i'd be concerned.
One really bad game doesn't doom your season. (Unless it comes during the playoffs)
