I'm just going to assume somebody on the Vikings will have a career day against us.

Jared Allen vs Newhouse... ugh

I think Newhouse will be fine. He is a competitor, and had been our best OL prior to last Sunday. I think he will bounce back. At least, I sure hope so bro! Yikes! We cannot have anymore performances like last week, at any position.

"Grog and the slant".....sounds like a 1960's rock band!Big Grin
I admit, the total whipping from last week had me down.
I guess we will see just how badly the Packers want to win by how they react to the butt-whipping they took last week.
If they come out dead like last week, then i'd be concerned.
One really bad game doesn't doom your season. (Unless it comes during the playoffs)

Negatives....No C.J. Wilson, No CM3, No Woody, Pickett hurting but will play.

Positive....Greg Is Back!!!! It's The Queens :)

Vikings prob gonna try and run the ball and control clock, Packers need to stuff Peterson and co.

Time to turn loose the all out air assault!!!! 4 and 5 wr sets all day, screw the run in this one.

PACKERS 38 Queens 16

Rodgers will be celebrating his 29th birthday with a win ... a convincing win at that.

I read someplace that he hasn't played on his birthday since high school.

Probably the last Greg Jennings-less game.

When's Woody due back?
It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get back up again.

This will only help the Packers cause.. I had to laugh though.. he would be downgraded to out if he didn't travel... lol. Shocker.

Unless the Vikes have mastered particle transportation that is.. now that I mention that.. hmmm... I can see a resemblance to .......

Quote:
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Percy Harvin wasn't on the field when the Minnesota Vikings opened their final practice of the week on Friday, leaving their top receiver a long shot for Sunday's game at Green Bay.

Coach Leslie Frazier said Harvin went through some drills catching the football but not much else. He'll be listed as doubtful (25% chance of playing) but would be downgraded to out if he doesn't travel.

Harvin hasn't played since spraining his left ankle on Nov. 4 at Seattle, missing the Vikings' last two games. He tried to practice on Wednesday but was limited, then sat out on Thursday.

Everyone else on the 53-man roster was on the field and are believed to be available for Sunday.

>Matthews making progress but he's not ready to play yet. All he did was rehab on Friday.
>Not certain that Matthews will be back next week. Wait and see.
>Driver's thumb needs rest. See whare we are tomorrow.
>Casey Hayward doing a good job in slot, been impactful. As far as how many plays, the opponent has something to do with that.
>Jennings looked good. Going through bumps but spring in step. Cut practice back a little bit today.
>Flow of the game will decide how many plays he can play and how the game is called.
>Wednesday practice was up and down. Thursday outside practice was much better. Today was cut back.
>I think you find something out about your team every week. Bottom line is we need to go and beat Minnesota.
>Of DL, important for all backups to be good against run with C.J. Wilson out.
>Cut back 17 minutes because coming back off Sunday night game. This was something we planned.
