Depending on your definition of significantly, you would lose that bet.

29, 19, and 7 more targets than Finley.

In what order are these numbers? Witten was targeted 22 times on Sunday alone. Does the number 29 imply that he only received 7 targets otherwise? Perhaps I'm just confused.

Either way, as with any statistic alone, the full story isn't told. It's one thing to drop passes when there is still a lot of production. We all make mistakes but what's often most important is how we respond to those mistakes. It's another to drop a substantial number of passes in key situations in addition to producing very little (and getting paid a lot). But I forgot, Finley is soooo feared that he requires double coverage on every single play and makes everyone else's life as a receiver easy. Finley gets such great separation in the passing game, that he would take over a game if single covered. Sarcasm

After the Saints game, Mike McCarthy showed him a video of him plucking the ball out of the air that Shawn posted earlier today. He's setup meetings with Aaron Rodgers for 30 minutes the day prior to the game. And here he's acknowledging his drops and lack of targets because of said drops. His position coach says he's catching nearly every single pass thrown to him during practice.

What. Gives?!?!

Z2C, you are at fault here... somehow.

he feels the sharp critisism of this website on gameday.

it is the only explanation that makes sense.

Zero! Run a quick script that changes all instances of any negative words to positive in any sentences that contain "Finley", he'll get 300 yards and 6 TDs on Sunday.

It would be great if the coaches could "get through to him". He is a great talent but he needs to use it every game.

More from the quote I threw up before.
Quote:
“It’s opportunity, getting trust back from A-Rod,” Finley said. “If I was the quarterback, I wouldn’t throw it to the guy who’s off rhythm right now, either. So I’ve got to get that trust back.”

Finley’s confidence has been lifted by Saturday night talks with Aaron Rodgers. “I’m doing it from here on out every Saturday,” Finley said. “The guy is touching the ball 100 percent of the time. You’ve got to have that trust. That 30-, 45-minute meeting, that shows a lot. And he just says, ‘How do you want the ball?’ I tell him, ‘It ain’t how I want it, you tell me what you want me to do.’”

Seriously, this kid just has to get going. I'm at a loss, unless his knee injury has never fully healed, I just don't get it.

That. Finley's definitely playing better and I'm glad he is, he's just not playing up to his paycheck. He's not worth keeping if it means losing Cobb, Nelson, or Jennings.

Just put the franchise tag on Jennings, by then we'll know if Cobb can replace him. I'm probably one of the few in here that hasn't given up on YOTTO, but I'm close. Lately, it looks to me like he has a little more burst. Maybe his knee is finally feeling better.

Here's an article from Lori that will just tick off you Finley fans to the max!!

Lori Nickel wrote:
Green Bay – Meet the boring, bland Jermichael Finley.

After the Packers disposed of the Minnesota Vikings, 23-14 Sunday at Lambeau, and the celebrating, enigmatic star tight end grabbed 6 catches for 60 yards, he was clearly on a mission.

To not say anything.

Nearly every question in the post-game locker room earned this response:

“It's a credit to Aaron Rodgers and the offense, and I’m just glad to be a part of it.”

Or,

“We’ve got a great player like Aaron Rodgers and I’m just happy to be a part of it.”

Or,

“We played a great game today … a somewhat great game … and we just have to keep it going.”

The tweeting and normally talkative Finley is, apparently, content to let his game, and the Packers' victory, do all the talking. But he would compliment receiver James Jones on that acrobatic 50-50 ball in the end zone which Jones hauled down for a 32-yard touchdown and the early 7-0 lead.

“Oh that was sweet. James has made a ton of great plays this year and he’s having one of those great breakout seasons,” said Finley. He added that Jones shows that ability when he plays pickup basketball as well.

“I’ve seen him jumping up and dunking, grabbing balls over people.”

As for getting the running game going (152 yards today), or the Packers aquiring 435 net yards on offense, Finley was back in to cliché mode:

“It was a great day for everybody. I was just glad to be a part of it.”
