First, the flea flicker wasn't a terrible play call, just poorly executed. GJ as way behind the safeties, A Rod just underthrew him.

Also, I don't know that we should be giving game balls to Barclays yet. He completely whiffed on the starks TD and a few other occassions, and was spoty in pass coverage.

With that said, I was certainly intrigued by the potential displayed by a UFA rookie.

He may has "whiffed" on the Starks run, but he forced the defender to take shoot inside, which was almost just as good as a block in that particular circumstance.

He wasn't great in pass protection, but he looked every bit as good if not a little better than Lang (who was bad at RT). Lang is a huge improvement over EDS, as well.

Lang will probably get the week off, and be a game time decision. Barclay should get all the reps at RT this week, and hopefully Lang can go back to LG against the Lions. Avril should be a good test for Barclay and give us a better idea of what we have.

Did anyone follow how much help Barclay did or didn't get?

They were helping him with Kuhn and Crabtree, but keep in mind. Dude didn't get starters reps this week, if any.

I think he's gonna be fine.

Aaron Rodgers said he ran out of arm on the throw.

Barclay had help the whole game in pass protection and still got flagged for holding...granted he was solid considering the situation but game ball ? Shame on you

Burnett's first INT turned the game around ..... Queens never overcame it.

What, by being in the general vicinity of where Ponder's lobbing up freebies?

On a serious note, both very nice catches that I'd like to see being made 2/3 of the time that it seems nobody (but Hayward) has been catching this year. Good to see someone else getting in on the action.

Aaron Rodgers said he didn't have help in the 2nd half. I've lost some trust in Rodgers word, but I'm going to side with him on this one. It's a QB thing.

Starks should get more carries. Guys a whole lot more explosive than Green.

I liked the balance between the 2 RB actually they both being something different. I seem a bit of help on the right side but it was on and off. It wasn't every play

Barclay showed that the season isn't over without Lang. GAME BALL.

As for Burnett, the season may have turned on that first INT. Dude's been around INTs all season, but hasn't been hanging onto them.

I concur. Barclay had a decent game but he did have help on frequent plays. The holding penalty was half on AR. Barclay had to do something when Rodgers ran past both of them.
And a whiff is a whiff. It doesn't matter that it worked out well and Starks got the TD. It was no thanks to Barclay. It is similar to a db who is out of position and makes gets a pick because the pass in off target and the receiver tips it.
