This is the equivalent of a short girl giving her tall boyfriend on her tippy toes a kiss goodnight for a fantastic day.

Oh snap!!
Bob McGinn said:Green Bay - Under the deliberative direction of Ted Thompson, the Green Bay Packers almost never make major decisions until deadlines near.
But barring a shocking turn of events in the next month or so, tight end Jermichael Finley is playing his fifth and final season for the team.
Sources familiar with the Packers' thinking say the club not only wants to get rid of Finley but has decided to do exactly that in the off-season.
It means that if the Packers cannot find a trade partner, they are prepared to release Finley because of financial, competitive and behavioral reasons.
There is no way the Packers will pick up the second half of the two-year, $14 million contract they gave Finley in late February, according to sources.

I read the article.
I got a great idea. After every game, the Packers should single out one of the opposing players. They should go on record as saying "<that player> is one of the best, if not the best, at his position."
You know how much trouble that would cause for the team's next season?
It's genius. I'll get on the phone with

immediately.

I thought the same. Then I had to wonder if seeing this story would light a fire underneath him for the last few games and the playoffs.
Something that would be interesting is - come playoff time- Other teams knowing GB is upset with Finley's level of effort don't scheme for him like they should and Mike and Aaron focus on JerMike and he has 3 huge games.

I don't think Finley is that kind of person.

SO now will he just drop balls on purpose? Finley has a lot of talent, but can't keep his mouth shut.

Feature Finley like it's 2009 and some stupid team like the Bungles will give up a draft pick for him. (I type this tongue in cheek, btw)

So let me get this right.. the Packers whom guard information about players like it is paramount to national security, decide now to leak information to the free world?
Something just doesn't sit right with the timing and seeming definitive nature of this information.
Sorry Bob... I am not buying your information, seems like a guess to me. One the Packers don't need at the moment.. so thanks for pissing on the possible parade this weekend.
I am guessing there will be some comments from the Packers arriving tomorrow on the topic, a denial.

Isn't quoting someone "close to the situation" and not giving an actually name; press lingo for this comes straight out of my ass?
