There’s no better way to rub your rivals nose in it than take the division championship on their home field. Unless it involves taking the NFC Championship game on their home field like the Packers did in 2010. Having the Halas Trophy presented to the Packers at Soldier Field was the ultimate indignity, and signature moment in the history of this blood fued. But winning the North on Sunday will be fun too.
I cleptied this from a poster on PFT, but I thought it was well said. The only way the Bears can get even with us is to take the NFC championship game from us in Lambeau. The Packers are behind 92-87-6 in the all time series. I like our odds of taking back the lead in the next seveal years with our current QB.

Quote:Mike Neal (shoulder) also is ready to take on a normal workload. Minus C.J. Wilson, the plan is to rotate Mike Daniels and Jerel Worthy at defensive end in the base and use Neal in sub packages.
"But Mike can play in there," said Mike Trgovac, who coaches the defensive line. "I'll have to get a feel whether his shoulder can take the pounding of the (3-4) stuff. If he says, ‘Coach, I’m fine,’ I’ll mix him in there as well."
Wilson suffered what he said was a pulled muscle near his left knee Nov. 25 and has been out since. He said it was the most time he has missed due to injury since he began playing football at age 9.
linkJoe Whitt slaps down Marshall. [grin1]
Quote:Cornerbacks coach Joe Whitt made it a point to watch video of Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall’s news conference Wednesday in which he ranted about remarks made by some players in Green Bay and vowed to play his very best game.
Whitt said he took no offense to what Marshall said.
“This is the NFL,” said Whitt. “Hopefully, everybody plays their best every week. That is our mind-set.
“We respect that he gave his best last game and we’re expecting to get his best this game. Nothing has changed.”
Cornerbacks Sam Shields and Tramon Williams will play outside and Casey Hayward will play inside in nickel and dime, according to Whitt. No decision was made on the starter at right cornerback in the 3-4.

What are the 3 words all Packers fans want to hear most this Sunday?
A) "Go Pack Go!"
B) "Bears still suck!"
C) "There's your dagger!"

All of the above

LOL! Hello Grizz! Good to see that you showed up here![grin1]
I'm happy that CM3 is back. And, he hasn't played in 6 weeks, and if 100% healthy, should be WELL rested and ready to take it out on Cutler.
I can't see the Bears winning this one. Without Urlacher, they lose their defensive leader. Slower or not, he's still a force on the field.

Good to see you got out of The Back Alley a little while for this one Griz.
Hate it when you predict a Packer loss, you are usually pretty accurate, but gotta disagree with you on this one!!
OLINDO MARE(correct sp!

)will not get a chance to kick a fg today.
I was worried The Bears would bring back "the greatest football player ever" Al Del Greco, but since they settled for Mare..........

27-20 Packers. 2 TDs through the air for Rodgers, one on the ground for Ryan Grant, and Crosby goes 2/2. Bears get a big play on special teams (I'm thinking block) shortly before half time to take the lead but the Packers come out in the second half and take control.

I just hope Slocum remembers that lame trick/fake fair catch play the bares tried to run on us.(Can't remember if it was last year or the year before?)I think it was Bush who sniffed it out.

Actually noone sniffed it out. They ran it back for a TD without any packers player even getting close to it. Lucky for us, it was called back due to some penalty on the other side of the field. That play wasn't lame by the way, it was fucking genius, and it worked to perfection besides the penalty.

Tough game to predict.
With the division on the line against the Bears, you would expect this team under Mike McCarthy to shit itself.
HOWEVER, with Urlacher and Tillman out, and us getting Clay back, I expect the Packers to explode. Greg Jennings will be getting into sync with Arodge.
Most of these games with the Bares are close, but I like how our running game is coming on with Barclay.
I'm predicting the Packers will explode for a comfortable win today. Not to jinx us, but I don't think Cutler finishes this game.
Bears give up in the third.

There are two teams I worry about in the NFL - the Giants anywhere, and da Bears in Chicago.
I was hoping Vikesrule would pick the Niners over the Pats so I could make an easy $20. The Pats will SLAUGHTER the Niners, and I'll rub it in everyone's stupid face. I'm getting really sick of Niner fans.
But he didn't. He picked the Pats. Damn.
So I got $20 on the Packers. VR said I was worried when the Lions were up 14-0 against us. I wasn't. He was mistaken.
I am worried about this game though. Even with Urlacher out.

I have lost all confidence in Crosby. I don't want him for the playoffs.
Originally I thought they should keep him and he will get it all together net year. He may. I don't care anymore.
