I'm down with someone else knocking out the Giants and 49ers, lol. I think the Packers could take the Seahawks at Lambeau, and could take the Falcons at their place and could take anyone in the North division.

Packers very likely could get 2nd seed.

yep. 9ers could lose 2 of their last 3. Watching them go 0-1-1 against the Rams was unbelievable. They should have been 0-2

Winning the division means little to Packers' fans. We don't wear division champ hats.

But sometimes we need a reminder that the Green Bay Packers have won the NFC North the majority (55%) of its existence.

The Bears are 2nd best winning the NFC North 27% of the time and after one of those rare 3 wins by the Bears, the Packers were still World Champions.

I don't mind it Wub

At least we got a home playoff game and are a sure thing for the playoffs 2 weeks before the season ends. It's a luxury. I say screw the past, it means little to nothing to what the outcome is in the future.

Financially, the good teams have an extra home game; Great teams have two extra home games.

Now the league controls tickets revenue but the home team sells more concessions, memorabilia, parking etc. It also does a lot for the local economy (Restaurants, motels, bars, Oneida casino, etc.)

If we're going to have a good chance of taking out the Giants or 49ers, the game needs to be in Lambeau imo. Tennessee should be a very winnable game and hope the Seahawks can take out SF next week at home. That would give us the inside track to the 2 seed but Minnesota will be playing for the playoff lives not to mention AD going for Dickerson's record. At worst we end up a 3 seed and host a WC game, but getting that two seed would be huge imo if this team has any real chance of getting back to the Super Bowl this season.

Okay, so division = done.

What will it take for 2nd seed to be locked down?

Just win both games and have the Seahags take out the 9ers next week. If we lose another game then the 9ers have to lose both. If we lose both games, we could have a huge clusterfuck and probably end up with the 3rd or 4th seed. After next week, things won't be so convoluted.

I think we can beat any time in the AFC. I have awful concerns about ever getting past the 49ers and Giants. We just don't seem to match up with them up front. I hope the line changes help...

if we roll over for the vikings, after todays loss, the giants won't get in. might be something to consider.

For two weeks in a row now, the Giants have looked pathetic. I like it.

Every game that goes by, it is getting harder and harder to see Woodson being part of the team next year. It is even getting harder to find his spot this year. The secondary is playing very good. I hope when he comes back, he can show us all how much better he can make the secondary.

It is something I pray for. Then again, the 49ers are playing better than the Giants, and we match up just as poorly against them. Factor in then a mobile QB like Rodgers, and that teams scares the shit out of me. Damn and add to that the Seahawks, great running and passing game, they will be formidable in the playoffs. I am buying.

Merry Christmas, Dumbasses - sometimes we act like teenage girls around here.

I don't talk funny. So no, I don't think I'm you.

Merry Christmas right back at ya. And everyone else reading this thread.

Oh, and the Giants may be out of the Playoffs with the Vikings in? [-o<

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Giants scare me. We can beat any other team.

Depends.

We play them in GB, we win easily. If we play them there, I'll worry.
