If Packers win Super Bowl this year, I'd be fine with him retiring with his second ring. I'm hoping he gets that second ring and plays in 2013, unless his play drops dramatically. Charles Woodson wrote:Until somebody tells me I’m not, this is where I plan on playing. I haven’t had that conversation. If that conversation comes around, it comes around, but as far as I know is, anything that I expect is that I’ll be a Green Bay Packer. That’s all I have to say about that. 9/9/2010: Signed a five-year, $55 million contract. The deal included $21 million in advances and bonuses. 2012: $6.5 million (+ $4 million roster bonus due in April + $1 million in per-game roster bonuses + $1.063 million in possible incentives), 2013: $6.5 million (+ $2.5 million roster bonus + $1 million in per-game roster bonuses), 2014: $6.5 million (+ $2.5 million roster bonus + $1 million in per-game roster bonuses), 2015: Free Agent Hmm, then again, that is a lot of money for a guy who might not be the one of the top four defensive backs on the roster. |

Christ, I'm going to have to have Mrs. Dakota start nitting all you fckrs some crying towels. No DD, no Wood, no Jennings. I have an idea though, why don't we just enjoy our current Super Bowl run. Starting to get that feeling. |

I simply said I think Uncle Teddy would like to have him back IF they price is right. |

They'll make it work. Woodson wants to be a first round ballot Hall of Famer and it helps if he's on a perennial playoff team that has a good shot at SBs. He's played in 2, won 1. And of course, wants Woodson on the Packers. Woodson may not be the super athlete he once was, but he plays smart and can read offenses. You need a general on the field just as much as you need super athletes. We need him. He needs us. It will happen. Woodson will be a Packer in 2013. |
My man Donald Driver (thanks to Pack93z for the pic) 2010 will be seen as the beginning of the new Packers dynasty. |

I'd much rather keep Jennings than Woodson at that price. Hopefully they can re-negotiate his contract.
