I really don't care. I just want the Packers to win, period.
Beat the Queens sunday, and get the bye.
After that, who cares?

Don't really care if either of them miss. I just want to see the Giants gone.

Not that I'm afraid of/care who we play, but I'm fairly confident the Giants will not be making it to Green Bay this postseason. The only way the Giants can make the playoffs ends up with them as the 6th seed going to San Fran (if we lose New York is out and there is no way Arizona beats the Niners). The way they've played the last 7 games (2-5), I don't see them winning at both San Fran and Atlanta.

Personally, I wish the Bears, Vikes, and the Giants all made the playoffs and we had to play each of them to get to the Super Bowl. It would only make the journey so much sweeter to knock each one of them out of the playoffs on the way to New Orleans.

And I think it would only be fitting if we were to go on and win the Super Bowl 35-21 over the Patriots, since that's what we beat them by in Super Bowl XXXI (which was also in New Orleans). I think a recreation of that Super Bowl would be most pleasant.

PS: I'm not predicting, and I'm not being overconfident--this is just me dreaming...

I really see no need to have to kill the Giants on our way to a super bowl. Yeah, they beat us earlier this year. Yeah, they knocked us out last year. But they're not division rivals and they don't have any major history with us this year like the Seachickens do.

Boy is that a Kenny Clueless answer. The Giants are one of the four original teams with the Packers, Bears, and Cardinals. Of course we have more history with them than a stupid refereeing error with the Seahags. I could really care less about that anymore, although we would already have the second seed wrapped up.

The "Call" in Seattle, may help the Packers at this point more than hurt them. It provides a extra level of motivation if the Packers and SeaChickens hook up. But that is about the only real meaningful history we have with SeaChickens... other than coaches and front office personnel stepping from GB to Seattle.

The Giants on the other hand have more on field history with the Packers recent and long ago. Dating all the way back to 1938 NFL Championship game. A couple memorable games in the 60's as well.. through the last couple of seasons, including Favre's last game as a Packer.

So indeed, the history advantage definitely belongs to the Giants.. even in recent times.

I think it is due to the time frame I grew up. When the Bears were good, and the Vikes, well not so good. When we play those teams, if the Vikings are not that good, I don't get into the game that much, through I still want to beat them. It doesn't matter if the Bears are good or bad. I want to destroy them.

I don't want us losing to let either team in. I want us to take care of business and how ever the rest plays out, if one of them gets in, we will just have to beat them if we end up playing.

I still will bank more history, both recent and past with the Giants.

absolutely. GB has ten times the history with the little boys from NYC New Jersey.
