I really see no need to have to kill the Giants on our way to a super bowl. Yeah, they beat us earlier this year. Yeah, they knocked us out last year. But they're not division rivals and they don't have any major history with us this year like the Seachickens do.

Boy is that a Kenny Clueless answer. The Giants are one of the four original teams with the Packers, Bears, and Cardinals. Of course we have more history with them than a stupid refereeing error with the Seahags. I could really care less about that anymore, although we would already have the second seed wrapped up.

The "Call" in Seattle, may help the Packers at this point more than hurt them. It provides a extra level of motivation if the Packers and SeaChickens hook up. But that is about the only real meaningful history we have with SeaChickens... other than coaches and front office personnel stepping from GB to Seattle.

The Giants on the other hand have more on field history with the Packers recent and long ago. Dating all the way back to 1938 NFL Championship game. A couple memorable games in the 60's as well.. through the last couple of seasons, including Favre's last game as a Packer.

So indeed, the history advantage definitely belongs to the Giants.. even in recent times.

I think it is due to the time frame I grew up. When the Bears were good, and the Vikes, well not so good. When we play those teams, if the Vikings are not that good, I don't get into the game that much, through I still want to beat them. It doesn't matter if the Bears are good or bad. I want to destroy them.

I don't want us losing to let either team in. I want us to take care of business and how ever the rest plays out, if one of them gets in, we will just have to beat them if we end up playing.

Fair enough, I forgot Matt stuck his foot in his mouth and bit down hard. =d>

I still will bank more history, both recent and past with the Giants.

uffda udfa (3h) : Back to football: Julio says he's going to play Sunday. Did NOT say he wouldn't be limited in the game.
uffda udfa (3h) : Anyone ever used their dishwasher to make their Thanksgiving turkey?
uffda udfa (3h) : Favorite Ronnie Milsap song? Smokey Mountain Rain or Any Day Now?
uffda udfa (7h) : Favorite GM candidate... Wolf or Gutekunst?
uffda udfa (7h) : I'd rather sit them than play them too compromised.
uffda udfa (7h) : Yeah, Z. More pressure cooker talk and smoked turkeys.
Zero2Cool (7h) : If this were a regular-season game, Nelson, Adams and Allison probably would not play, MM says.
Smokey (8h) : Mason Crosby is ill, hope it's not the Flu.
Smokey (8h) : Great, can we move past that story and get back to the Atlanta game ?
Zero2Cool (8h) : Packers exec Eliot Wolf has withdrawn his name for 49ers' GM job, as @TomPelissero reported. He didn't feel it was the right time.
TheKanataThrilla (9h) : We'll just have to score TDs then.
Zero2Cool (9h) : That's what we know.
Zero2Cool (9h) : Crosby, Mason K Illness
Smokey (10h) : Is He ill or not ?
Smokey (10h) : Raiderpride asked, "Anyone know what Crosby's illness is?"
Zero2Cool (10h) : Davante Adams expected to play- KFFL
Porforis (11h) : Alright, my opinion on Jordy has changed. If he's medically cleared to play, play him.
hardrocker950 (12h) : By Sunday we won't have any WRs
Zero2Cool (13h) : Geronimo hamstring, Janis quad. BEAUTIFUL.
Smokey (13h) : Mason Crosby, is his health OK ?
Smokey (13h) : Hello
FLORIDA PACKER88 (13h) : Davis, G-Mo, and Janis will need to step up, but all three did score last time we played ATL!
FLORIDA PACKER88 (13h) : Does Janis become a playoff hero second year in a row? Looks we're gonna have to find out either way regardless. Thank God for a healthy Cob
Smokey (13h) : Is Mason Crosby's health OK ?
Smokey (14h) : What's in your Coffee ?
uffda udfa (18-Jan) : Sit Davante if he has a bad ankle. We remember 2015.
uffda udfa (18-Jan) : Davante is not going to practice until SAT at earliest.
uffda udfa (18-Jan) : Davante and Jordy may be inactive at ATL.
Smokey (18-Jan) : ROFL !!
