VR, do you think a guy that hasn't thrown a pass all year might be a little rusty, and have some butterflies? We need to hit this guy early,HARD,and often. But I think we get a heavy dose of A.P. in the early portion of the game. They will try to get Webb in his comfort zone so they will only pass when needed. |

we need to hit Webb hard and often because who would be the backup qb if Ponder is inactive? |
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be :) |

Well, that wasn't so bad. On to the 49ers to beat them like we did in the 90's. |

Or how about just sit back in coverage and watch him bounce passes like McNabb/T-Jack? Either way, congrats on the win. It took a backup QB to make it a 'signature' win for y'all. Good job on AP. I was actually impressed. My you lose and lose hard next week in SanFran. |

What a difference Woody makes. We seemed to tackle much better than last week and we had to worry about Webb taking off as well. Sort of wish we would have activated Woody last week with a bye on the line, but I think we can beat San Fran in their house. |

He's our QB of the defense.

Forgot to add, it is nice to finally be on the benefit side of the injury bug. Unfortunate for the Vikings to have to rely on their back-up, but given our walking wounded list all year it is hard to feel too sorry for you. |

Better to be injured early in the year than late. Your squad proved that this year and 2 years ago. |

On one run play in the 4th Q., Peterson made it to the second level and I swear I saw Woodson bring him down with a 1 arm tackle in which Woodson didn't even have to drag AD down to the ground; he simply wrapped his left arm around AD's stomach and pulled him down. Also, Walden did two things tonight: 1) earned himself a hell of a raise this offseason with his superb play tonight; and 2) proved that Moses should be starting and giving Walden regular breathers. When Walden is fresh, he is capable of playing at a very high level next to Clay. He might also provide a good option to spy on 49ers QB next week. Nice win, fueled by discipline and execution by the D. They need to come up big next week as well for us to stand any chance of winning. |
