so this either means he'll attempt 13 to keep pace with his season's average, or all of them will be attempted from within the 10, which means our redzone offense sputtered just a bit!
Hey, if the Packers win with 7 Mason Crosby FGs, I'll take it.

And Mike McCarthy thoughts on the why..
Quote:"Donald Driver is a class act, to say the least," coach Mike McCarthy said this week. "He's a pro's pro. He does everything ever asked of him. We’ve had conversations of late here, with part of what’s going on with him being active and inactive, and he's handled it very well. He’s an excellent teammate. Everybody clearly understands what he means to this organization and what he's done. He’s out there preparing every day, getting ready to play.
"He may have an opportunity this week. We’ll see how it shakes down. Those are very difficult decisions to make when you have a healthy 53 (player roster) to get to 46 (on game day). When you put the emphasis on special teams and you have young man like Terrell Manning that gets his opportunity and he wins a game ball on special teams and also has the ‘big hit’ award, that’s why you have to make those kind of decisions. It’s part of the way it sorts out through game-planning, and special teams obviously plays into it."

Quote:Green Bay - Hands tucked in his black winter jacket, he watched on. Typically, this is Donald Driver time. Playoff time.
Yet during a 24-10 win over Minnesota, one of the Green Bay Packers' most revered players ever was rendered completely powerless.
Right now - in 2013 - the Packers don't necessarily need Driver. He has been inactive for four of the team's last six weeks. He hasn't caught a pass in nearly two months. So, his career in Green Bay on the brink, the 37-year-old receiver swallowed his pride, approached coaches and did something usually reserved for 22- and 23-year-old players.
He asked to play special teams.
"I said, 'I'd like to play special teams if you guys need me,' " Driver said. "The thing is when you've played this long in your career, they don't think that a veteran guy wants to play because sometimes it's like a kick in the . . . I didn't think that. I didn't think that at all.
"I looked at it as an opportunity to play and have fun. That's what I want to do. I asked them and they said, 'Sure.' I'm back on it. We'll see. We'll see."

Unlike you, I will root for whoever is on the 53 man roster.
Keeps things all nice and safe for you to never lay an opinion on the line, right? If you actually assume I would root against one of our players, than clearly you have no idea how I think.
