For those of you wondering where our middle and outside linebackers are, check IR; same goes for our offensive line players. As for Dom Capers, I'm fine letting his senile ass go. We should just go back to a 4-3 anyway with Wilson and Raji at DT and Perry and Neal at end. Matthews can be our Brian Urlacher. We have yet to successfully fill the other OLB and it is a fucken unacceptable for our fourth year in this defense.

Didn't see him on the opening drive when we were down by 3 either

And another thing - for as many high draft picks the Niners have had to build this team, they should be this good. We got our ass kicked tonight, moving on.

True Niners did play better football but our defense didn't even challenge them!

You can only hold a team together with baling wire for so long. No team is a contender with the injuries we've sustained. Still a lot to be proud of this season.

Wpr you only get play makers on d-line in early picks and Ted Thompson will never trade up

I am interested in the thought of going back to a 4-3. We don't have a true NT out there, and we have done better than I thought we would with the guys we had honestly.

I am aware of that. Looks like they need to pull the trigger and do it. Uncle Teddy did it when he grabbed CM3.

I knew this team couldn't go three more games without shitting itself, but for the second year in a row they have really really disappointed me in the playoffs.

MM's teams chronically underperform and shit themselves in the clutch.

Yes, the defense sucked, but they were hung out to dry all day by an offensive coach who apparently "doesn't believe" in time of possession as a stat.

And the turnovers, well I suppose you could set your watch by them.
It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get back up again.

I was never in favor of the 3-4 let alone the 2-5 or 1-6 or what every they call it. As a one time scheme it may confuse the defense bit do it 3 times in the game and the offense and every other team in the NFL know how to handle it.

I remember the 3-4 failure in the 80's but I was shouted down here.

Fuck IR. That's a goddamn excuse. Those players on IR were on the worst defense yards-wise in NFL history last year or were rookies who hadn't shown much of anything yet.

If you can't stop a goddamn rookie quarterback from rushing for close to 200 yards, you don't have any goddamn excuse.

If you can't stop a team from getting close to 600 yards, you don't have any goddamn excuse.

If you give up 45 points (so far), you don't have any goddamn excuse.

If SF doesn't get one stupid play from its quarterback in the first quarter, this defense probably would have given up 50+ points.

To Colin Fucking Pumpernickel and a goddamn ex-Bear head coach.

This Packer defense sucks when it matters.

I don't know if it's the coaching. I don't know if it is the execution. I don't know if it's the scheme. I don't know if it's the heart.

This Packer defense sucks when it matters.

Period.

None of the above. It wouldn't have been a wasted vote. Obama and Romney -- Those were the wasted votes.
