While I obviously have my favorite players for their on-field performances, few players have done much to earn me much in terms of actual respect. Driver is one of those players.
I can't tell him what's best for him but it sure as hell looks like he doesn't have much left in the tank, and I'd rather see him go out now and have some sort of connection with the Packers from here on out (adviser, position coach, media) than be a #4 on some other team and barely see any action. |

It's always difficult to see great Packers retire, whick is what I would like to se DD do. But if he wants to prolong his career you can't blame him with the money available. Either way best wishes to DD. |

If DD is not at the end.. he is within spitting distance. Why start over with another team?
I am guessing the Packers might have sat out a contract for Driver to market the Packers.. and maybe a job within the organization.
Whatever Donald Driver chooses to do.. I wish him and his family the very best.
