Apparently Cedric Benson has a few run-ins with the law in Wisconsin. January 2013 he was charged with Animals Running at Large twice from his Maribel, WI home. And he also got nailed for Speeding in Manitowoc County going 40-44mph over the limit oh and when nailed he didn't have a valid drivers license.
Something tells me this isn't "Packer People" ... |

oh and the speeding? - those wisconsin cops are too speed gun happy 6 over and you get a ticket.

anyways ...
Getting a ticket for going 40 over isn't because the cop was too speed gun happy. Also I think his dogs attacked an injured like 17 other animals.

anyways ... I consistently drive 10-25 over on the highway and interstate in Wisconsin, and let me say this. The dude was [allegedly] going 40-44 over with no license. As in going 60-64 in a school zone, 65-69 in a residential area, 95-99 on a highway, or 105-109 on the interstate. Really, blame the cops? Also, source for these troubles with the law anyone? |

I shake my head at the stupidity and think, "what a moron." Obviously too foolish to recognize the opportunities he has been afforded, and not take measures to protect himself. He has a past. It wasn't all that great. This is no way to rehabilitate a career, in one of the best places to do so.

Sorry, but living on a farm growing up, animals get out.. so to me, that isn't really that big of an offense on his part. Animals at times will lay waste to the best made containment. It happens.. he should be liable for damage and ensure everything is done to contain them. The speeding.. Ced, that is irresponsible and as noted, you are running out of strikes in the court of law. Today there was a bad wreck, supposedly due to a speeding driver, flight for life had been called for two folks.. 4 kids were in one vehicle. There is no excuse for driving that fast.. none.
