I dont' know about that
Losing the 38-year-old Driver, the 36-year-old Woodson and 37-year-old Saturday also means the Packers have only two players on their roster who’ve celebrated their 30th birthday: Defensive tackle Ryan Pickett (33) and fullback John Kuhn (30). Running backs Cedric Benson and Ryan Grant are also 30 years old but are also both unrestricted free agents. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who’ll turn 30 in December, is now the longest-tenured Packer, having been drafted in 2005. (No one else remains from general manager Ted Thompson’s first draft class.)

Packers tight end Jermichael Finley has frequently heard taunts from fans in Green Bay about dropped passes, but that doesn't change his view about playing for the team. INDIANAPOLIS – With Donald Driver retired, Charles Woodson having been released and center Jeff Saturday having been let go so he can retire with the Indianapolis Colts, the Green Bay Packers have lost a combined 43 years of NFL experience off their roster so far this offseason.

Losing the 38-year-old Driver, the 36-year-old Woodson and 37-year-old Saturday also means the Packers have only two players on their roster who’ve celebrated their 30th birthday: Defensive tackle Ryan Pickett (33) and fullback John Kuhn (30). “That is a lot of veteran leadership that won’t be with us, so you’re always a little bit concerned about that,” Packers general manager Ted Thompson acknowledged at the annual NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium. “We have a strong locker room, strong leadership foundation. In the NFL, the wheel keeps turning and that’s what we’re about, trying to get ready for the next game. we feel confident in the leadership in our locker room.”

Although coach Mike McCarthy also admitted that that’s a lot of experience to lose in one fell swoop, he also said he believes there are enough younger, up-and-coming leaders in the locker room to fill the void. In addition, Driver played only on a very limited basis, Woodson missed nine games with a broken collarbone and

“You don’t replace Charles Woodson; you don’t just go out and replace Donald Driver,” McCarthy said. “Locker room culture is something that I wouldn’t say is a moving target, but it’s something that’s either growing or not growing. … Leadership’s not always designated by how many years you’ve been in the league or how good a player you are; there’s leadership opportunities for every man in that locker room.

Zero2Cool (1h) : Hi 😊😉
TheKanataThrilla (6h) : I guess I should have did a refresh when I walked away from the computer.
TheKanataThrilla (6h) : Peters is 25 with one year left on his contract at just over $3M
Zero2Cool (8h) : Mel Kiper sticks with Marcus Davenport to GB in 2nd mock
Zero2Cool (9h) : As for Marcus Peters, how old is he an what's his contract years left?
Zero2Cool (9h) : Packers got tired of Sitton's antics.
Zero2Cool (9h) : Sitton was released not because of play or salary, but personality. He will not be re-signed.
TheKanataThrilla (9h) : If we are planning on possibly cutting Cobb I can see the 2nd round pick. A second round pick for Peters is a pretty good deal.
Smokey (11h) : I'd offer Cobb + a 3rd round pick + a 6th round pick in 2019 for the CB Peters from KC.
TheKanataThrilla (11h) : I guess that is a highter round pick
TheKanataThrilla (11h) : Suggestion was a 2nd round pick. I would want a lower round pick. I think that is too much. A 3rd or 4th seems about right.
Smokey (11h) : Cobb and WHAT PICK ?
TheKanataThrilla (12h) : A suggestion I saw was a trade of Cobb and a Pick for Peters. I think that would be a great move.
Smokey (15h) : Sitton was drafted be GB in 2008, not a young man at this point, but still is a "bear" of a man.
Cheesey (22h) : Sitton? Maybe if the price is right.
Cheesey (22h) : I doubt the Packers would try to resign Sutton. But who knows? If the price is right?
Zero2Cool (20-Feb) : Bears declining option on Josh Sitton. He'll be Free Agent.
Zero2Cool (20-Feb) : Chiefs CB Marcus Peters trade rumors -- come to Packers!
