Hmmm.. no play on this thread yet.. anyway.. I think Canty would provide another strong piece in terms of a rotational player. But isn't this the player they claim Neal may yet become?

I'm not gonna get too excited about any FA visiting GB.

Unless Ted Thompson does a complete 180, he is not going to spend the money on high-priced FA's, especially with Mathews,Raji,Rodgers,and many others who contracts are due in the next 2 years.

Chris Canty could help, I just don't know what he's asking. Probably more than wht Ted is willing to spend.

He was scheduled for 6.25million, his last deal was averaging 7. Get him for 4yrs around 16 million, with 6 this year, and drop it down to around 2 for years 2 and 3 with a jump backup year 4, that more than likely won't get earned.
