In seven NFL seasons, Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings has primarily caught passes from Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre. Yes, Jennings has experienced the joys of stellar quarterback play. And as he told USA Today's Robert Klemko in a story published Sunday, a team's quarterback situation is one of his decision-making factors in free agency.

Greg Jennings said:
Coaching means a lot, the dynamic of the team. To me, the quarterback means a lot, if they have one or not, and I have to make sure my family is comfortable.

Which he has in Green Bay, yet his bags are packed and he's ready to go.
And how much money does a man really need to make his family comfortable, seriously?

I make pretty decent money, but no where near 7 figures and I support all my girls just fine. So to answer your question ... hellifiknow. Maybe he has a different definition of comfortable than I?

I'm at risk. I have a lot of risk here. I got my family to feed.'' Sprewell is due to make $14.6 million this year. Sprewell, 34, described the team's latest offer, reported to be worth between $27 million and $30 million over three years, as ''insulting.''
Not that I think Greg is as bad as Sprewall is here but I guess they must feed their families gold nuggets or something.

Absolutely. No matter what he says it is about the money.

Pro players have this distorted idea if they don't get every nickle that is sitting on the table they are some how being disrespected. That the only true measure of respect is in the form of monetary compensation.

They also feel that they have to not only take care of their immediate needs that they have to have enough money to take care of their kids to the 10th generation needs as well. They kind of forget that they became successful by busting their butt and working hard. For some reason they don't want their family to have to do the same.

Since the advocate of obscenely big money for payers, how many kids have followed their father's career path and became a successful professional player? Ken Griffey Jr, Barry Bonds? Are there others. And their dads were well paid but I don't think they were paid exorbitantly. I know CM3 is a 3rd gen NFL player (with cousins waiting int he wings) but his dad/uncle/grandfather didn't have break the bank deals.

Which is why I'd like to never have salaries made public.

uffda udfa (44m) : It's just fine.
musccy (55m) : 5 questionable Packers, none for Falcons. Not good.
uffda udfa (1h) : Jordy not listed as OUT or DOUBTFUL. Questionable on injury report.
uffda udfa (2h) : This is the 6th straight game we've faced someone for the 2nd time. We learn.
uffda udfa (2h) : Aaron: I like our role. I like our chances. (said he relishes being an underdog)
uffda udfa (2h) : Aaron alludes to fake crowd noise at Georgia Dome for Sunday.
uffda udfa (3h) : So, to recap. Losing streak "just the way it is", winning streak "astronomical feat". #Balanced
uffda udfa (3h) : Ironically, he called the turn around "astronomical" not just the way it is in the NFL. #Don'tMissTheIrony
uffda udfa (3h) : Ted tells Demovsky the Packers weren't underachieving when 4-6. Just the way it is in the NFL????
Zero2Cool (7h) : Only time I recall getting annoyed is when they beat a single topic over and over and over.
Pack93z (7h) : Most yes... Heller seems to get it more so... diversity in his coverage... but seemingly can highlight the pressing issues properly.
Zero2Cool (7h) : I'm kind of in the boat that they all are babblying boonies.
Pack93z (7h) : God bless it... Bill Michaels can be a stubborn SOB at times... love his Packers coverage, still think he is a buffoon at times.
Zero2Cool (7h) : Jordy Nelson Named PFWA Comeback Player of the Year
Zero2Cool (9h) : Carter is predicitng the end is in ATL for Packers.
Porforis (9h) : Or I could just completely miss the part where that was Cris Carter.
Porforis (9h) : Careful there. Don't you want to predict a Packers loss just in case?
Zero2Cool (10h) : @criscarter80 :Every fairy tale comes to an end, and this is where the magic carpet ride stops in the ATL.
Zero2Cool (10h) : McCarthy: "JC Tretter actually had surgery Tuesday. He won't be available this week"
Zero2Cool (11h) : Crosby is fine now. Full Participant in practice Thursday
Porforis (11h) : What I'm more worried about at this point is WR injuries and Crosby being sick. Who'd be the backup if Crosby can't go?
Zero2Cool (11h) : We do have hope. Our secondary has improved. Also, he had to throw 80% to get 1 point up. That won't happen again.
Zero2Cool (11h) : I like to tease sometimes.
uffda udfa (12h) : Only 80%? :). We lost by one given that stat? Wish we had hope of tightening up.
uffda udfa (12h) : Z, u should tell everyone who Quintorris is. Quintorris Lopez Jones, better known as Julio.
Zero2Cool (12h) : Matt Ryan completed 80% of his passes against Packers in October.
uffda udfa (12h) : McGinn goes full on attack mode dismissing the notion of "Packers people". Harsh.
uffda udfa (12h) : McGinn says John Dorsey likely to be next Packers GM.
Zero2Cool (14h) : Boom! Davante Adams says last year's ankle injury "more difficult to deal with'
uffda udfa (18h) : Packers brass potentially leaving? Not worthy of discussing. Pressure Cooker? Never enough talk about them.
Zero2Cool (23h) : Put Quintorris in a pressure cooker.
uffda udfa (19-Jan) : Back to football: Julio says he's going to play Sunday. Did NOT say he wouldn't be limited in the game.
uffda udfa (19-Jan) : Anyone ever used their dishwasher to make their Thanksgiving turkey?
uffda udfa (19-Jan) : Favorite Ronnie Milsap song? Smokey Mountain Rain or Any Day Now?
uffda udfa (19-Jan) : Favorite GM candidate... Wolf or Gutekunst?
