I feel your pain! We had a few bad ice storms here a few years ago and some were without power for a few weeks. I was pretty lucky I was only without power for 36 hours.

You know, the air around this forum is so supercharged with estrogen and testosterone from all the flirting that goes on here, I'm forced to tape a semi to the inside of my thigh almost every time I visit this place.

Talk about messed up weather, here in PA last night we had flash floods then a winter storm advisory for freezing rain and snow. Good thing they were wrong on the snow because we were flooded every where.

Wow, we never have that much snow here. The worst snowfall I can remember over here is it being up to my knees when I was 4 or 5 years. So that wasn't that high either.

Oh, and have you ever been the supervisor in a hotrod shop, Ironman? :p

Someone go tell Montana Bob that fall has ended. Today is the first day of winter, and it's likely to start getting cold where he is. :thumbleft:

Cool wave pictures Df. I must of read that site wrong the first time. Today I had a cup of water outside that froze in 5 minutes. I actually almost prefer the dry cold up here though over the wet snow storms I see in the U S

Uh, it's cold enough here, defosterf, about - 5, and in the last 36 hours or so, we have accumulated 28 inches of snow. But, seeing as I'm "retired" I don't have to worry about it. My neighbor Mike is having a good time right now with his 4-wheeler and plow, plowing out everyones driveways and the street. Piles of snow are about 6 feet high.
We've had 11 days below zero already and it ain't Christmas yet. What's all the fuss about Global Warming.....sounds like an Al Gore conspiracy!
