Much of the media reports, the unnamed source routine, is nothing more than speculation.
If the Packers truly were "uncomfortable" and prepared to go in a alternative direction, I think there would have been more activity well before the day before the bonus being due.
A couple of weeks ago, Finley opined that a contract redo for the year wasn't something of interest and that they had not been approached... and with Finley's propensity to speak without a filter, we certainly would have known if they were approached.
I get it.. it is the offseason and you need to write something..
