Top comment in the video provided the times

At 7:35 he gets owned by the guy I'd like the Packers to draft at RT in the mid-rounds.....Quessenberry.
Burns Pugh at 15:32...Pugh is a pretty good offensive lineman. Seems like Datone gets a lot of guys to initially try to lunge forward due to his speed.
Gets killed by Fischer at 19:45, but kept pushing through the block.

Datone Jones looks like he has worked a lot on his hand movements compared to videos I have seen of him playing at UCLA.

The Packers draft for their scheme, which happens to be 3 - 4. This Datone Jones guy fills the DEFENSIVE END position in the 3 - 4. I doubt you'll see him in the DEFENSIVE TACKLE (as you said) position as much.

I hope you can bump some threads where people are bitching about getting 4 - 3 players instead of 3 - 4. Nick Perry was a 4 - 3 DE and they drafted him with the intent on making him a 3 - 4 OLB. That is drafting for 3 - 4. They had a plan.

Call it whatever you want. But we play a 5-2 more than a 3-4, so that will require him to line up inside.

I think he's a good player, I was just taken aback at the selection, particularly when there were so many other cream players on the board. It's all good though. Guess they got the guy they wanted.

You certainly correct that the Packers play with 2 DL more than 3 DL. Maybe that changes? Maybe rotate B.J. Raji, Mike Neal and Datone Jones as the 2 DL?

I wonder what happens with our "Psycho" package with one down lineman?

It was a novelty set. It worked a couple of times because the linemen didn't know what to do. When they tried it the following year it failed miserably as everyone had an idea of who to block.

Last DL Packers took was always wearing a bandaid. What is Datone Jones injury history for college?

Broken bone in his foot two seasons ago. That's all I know about.

Word is the Packers won't touch anyone with a significant injury history. Kind of makes me wonder about Barret Jones, didn't he have a Lisfranc?

Don't know if it would still be the psycho but could be interesting, Perry, Jones, Jones, Neal, Matthews All moving around able to come from anywhere with a running start.
The world needs ditch diggers to Danny!!!

i'd say we play a 2-4-5 nickle more than anything.
