Add Harris and or Green to the group as well.. personally, I am excited to see how Harris responds year 2, A full year in the system and with added competition.
I don't think Alex Green makes the roster.
Eddie Lacy, Johnathan Franklin, DuJuan Harris (if he gets better at pass blocking) and John Kuhn I think will be the running back quartet.
Running Back = Half Back and Full Back, right?
So, Lacy, Franklin and Harris are Half Backs and Kuhn is Full Back?

Just the vaguest hint of a real running game will change the whole complexion of the Packers offense and give Aaron Rodgers a real chance to pad his stats.
I don't like what they do, but I'm beginning to think they just might be able to get away with it.
Could end up being the freakiest offense on turf, if the defense can hold up.

Who will get the most carries? Lacy
Who will get the most yards? Franklin
Who will get the most receptions? Franklin
Who will get the most TD's? Lacy
Who will get the most carries? Frannklin
Who will get the most yards? Franklin
Who will get the most receptions? Franklin
Who will get the most TD's? Lacy
Lacy will be ready to play. Franklin's gonna need some weight room work, but he's gonna be the bigger threat to take it to the house. Lacy's gonna pad his TD stats with short yardage opportunities.

I never really thought dujuan was that good - too small for us - cant pass block and isn't that great a runner - was hoping starks could play but who knows where he will be at injury wise ...
Just hope our new guys can get their hands on the ball in the preseason and see what they can do.

Starks will hold up much better if:
1: He's not getting all the starter reps.
2: He learns to lower his pads and run behind them.

Alabama had another RB with over 1,000 yards and over 6 yards per carry and double digit touchdowns too. So, saying Alabama had a good or great line does mean something, because it is true as indicated by the two RB over 1,000, etc... and I think they had two or three of their OL drafted first round. I don't know if all five starters were eligible. Wait, center Barrett Jones was the third, he was a 4th or 5th rounder or something.
The clips I've seen of him, those were some pretty wide lanes far more often than not, hence my opinion was formed as it is. I didn't imagine those lanes lol.
The endurance thing ... yeah that concerns me, but heck, who really thinks he'll get over worked in the Packers offense? haha
I look forward to seeing training camp and pre-season to get a more informed opinion.
It's not like TJ Yeldon is some schmuck though. That guy was a 5 star recruit and the #2 ranked RB in the nation. By contrast Lacy was a 4 star and the #24 ranked RB recruit. He's going to be a 1st round pick like the other Alabama RBs were. I'm completely happy that we got ours with only a very late 2nd rounder.

He sure played great down the stretch for us, better than Green or Starks who didn't look good at all last year. I want Harris on this team next year, i'm really pulling for the kid. Isn't uh MJD Small, or Darren Sproles small? They sure have had great careers.
I remember Dajuan got better and better as the year went on. Arod sure admired the kid. I will only think he will get better at blocking and the system with the offseason and training camp under his belt. Plus we've drafted 2 pass blocking specialists. I had him starting for the season over Green/Starks but we've drafted talented players. He'll just add that more depth to the mix. Can't wait to see what this trio can do.

Exactly. They have had a whole succession of outstanding RBs - Ingram, Richardson, Lacy, maybe Yeldon. Who is to say it is the line making them great? Maybe they are giving the line its great rep. Just like a star QB and WR - who is to say who makes who great?
I expect more carries AND more yards and TDs for Lacy.

Or maybe they just consistently have a talented offensive line AND RBs. It doesn't have to be mutually exclusive.

I really like T.J. Yeldon's measurable's. I checked them out a few days ago. Kid runs a 4.3 forty too. I think I'd rather Eddie Lacy over T.J. Yeldon (uneducated selection there) because I'd rather someone who is more of a bruiser, than a speedster.

Now, we have two speedsters in Franklin and Harris. For as small as DuJuan Harris is, he packs a whollop too.
I think you're right Zero2Cool. We needed the bruiser. We got the best the draft had to offer.

Harris is gonna be just fine. I think he can play.
That said, he has to make the team. Imo he needs to keep the fire within, and he'll have a successful career, whether that's here or somewhere else.

Yeah the biggest thing about Harris last year is he was finding the holes that the other RBs were missing. The run blocking wasn't great all year but he's the only one who was making it work.
