I like the piece on Terrell Manning. I hope like hell he realizes his true potential this year and unseats one of our starting ILBs. It would be great to have someone in the middle of our D who becomes a true, unmistakable force in the NFL. We've been wanting that with Hawk, we had it briefly in Bish. Maybe this guy can make some noise.

I've been a fan of this guy throughout his college career and watched him live several times. He was/is a beast. He really reminds me of Desmond Bishop, the good and the bad. I think he could be a force in the middle, but will likely struggle in coverage. If Brad Jones could do nothing else but become a really good coverage ILB, perhaps the group as a whole will be substantially better this upcoming season.

I have been having trouble understanding why this fella is garnering so much fan fair ... then I read this "skeptics pondered if he had a future with the Packers after the team surrendered three picks to take him in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL draft".

Whats so hard to understand? He was a beast in college, has shown some true grit, and has been talked up by some coaches. That's enough to spark some hope that he can at least push the other average starters at the position. Seems very obvious to me. No one is saying he's a future hall of famer in the making or anything.

I like him.
Packers ditched DJ Smith knowing they still had this guy, keep that in mind.
