to be honest I was very much in the anti-Favre camp during his embarrassing exit. However, I also appreciate how much he meant to the team during his tenure and while I am not a big fan of retiring numbers (Reggie White, long-time Eagle is retired?) I think it's the right move. Canadeao, Hutson, Starr, Nitschke and now Favre? Sounds about right.

Not to derail this topic, but I think Reggie White's number was retired more so because of his sudden passing which was I think five or six years after he last played for the Packers.
