unless he missed TC there is no reason to worry.

these contracts are fairly set up within the new CBA. only a few negotiation points.

I am.

But it has nothing to do with Jones.

I not worried until they actually start camp and he's not there. With rookie salaries being pretty much slotted the agent is probably doing his job and trying to get every little thing he can for his client. To hold out of camp for what amounts to minor issues would really be stupid on the agents and/or the players part.

Only 8 out of 32first round picks are signed. When it's 31 out of 32 and Jones is the only one not signed, then I'll start to worry.

Damn these old eyes. Misread the list from the top of the thread. I used the numbers on the far left side of the list that were gray. Doh!!!!

Wouldn't it be easier to root for the Bears or Vikings so we didn't have to scan alllll the way toward the bottom of the list each year to see where our draft picks are? I mean, Lions? BAM right near the top. Bears? Middle. Vikes? Middle, plus they can scan down to the bottom so see our picks to know who's going to fill out their roster seven years from now.

There was at least 1 more 1st rnd draft pick signed over the weekend, could be more, only heard the one.

Packers Training Camp officially starts in 5 days.

Haven't heard much, but hopefully there will be good news before Friday.

No rookie is good enough to miss ANY practice time.

Not gonna get real worried until about Wednesday.

As of right now, there are 17 1st rounders signed. The largest group unsigned are a block of 8 toward the bottom of the round, where Jones is in the middle of that block, and the picks just above and below have not had terms disclosed. Based on this I would think he'll be one of the later signings, but I am sure it will get done this week with the rest of the first rounders. At this point all they are negotiating is the guarantee amount vs. the double-dip provisions so I don't think any of the rest will hold out.

Packers open camp on July 26, correct?

I've heard someone say they think the Packers will announce Jones signing during the Packers annual shareholders meeting on July 24.

The thought is it gives the Packers people something to talk about, like they resigned Clay Matthews right before the draft. But that might of just a coincidence.

Gibbs rule #39

Zero2Cool (2h) : Zone defenses always must answer this question: is it better to invest in top CBs, or better to invest in pass rushers who can make a CB’s job easier?
Zero2Cool (2h) : Packers giving away $500 Pro Shop gift card and 11 2018 Official Draft Caps
Zero2Cool (2h) : can't restrict

Zero2Cool (9h) : Who the hell gives a shit about Sat/Sun now? 3rd to 7th round? F U
Zero2Cool (9h) : I thought Sat/Sun was great. You make a weekend of it. Have buddies over, cookout, etc.
TheKanataThrilla (10h) : During the afternoons I tend to get caught up in family routines. I don't mind that for the later rounds.
TheKanataThrilla (11h) : I now take Friday off work. It is a bit annoying, but I do find it fun at night as I can crack a few beers and enjoy. Sucks if they trade out of the first round though.
wpr (18h) : I liked the Sat Sun version.
beast (23-Apr) : HELL YEAH! ... the draft was SOOOO MUCH BETTER in the ol Saturday/Sunday format... only people that I've heard disagree are those that don't really follow the draft and just random get updates on thei
beast (23-Apr) : Key word there is "proven"... not if they're true, but if you can prove it. Jerry Jones said the same thing for Greg Hardy, it wasn't "proven".
Zero2Cool (23-Apr) : Flat out honesty from 49ers GM
Zero2Cool (23-Apr) : John Lynch: “if these charges are proven true, if Reuben did hit this young lady, he won’t be part of our organization moving forward.”
Smokey (23-Apr) : 49ers / Bye Week / Rams
Zero2Cool (23-Apr) : Brian Gutekunst: “Draft was way better when it was Saturday and Sunday.”
Zero2Cool (23-Apr) : With pick #14, @CFD22 has the @Packers selecting UTSA DE Marcus Davenport.
Porforis (23-Apr) : He'll probably resort to buying and using Chicago Bears tickets.
Smokey (22-Apr) : Restrict Zero's toilet paper !
buckeyepackfan (22-Apr) : You gonna withhold your monthly dues until Zero gets the schedule posted Smokey? Lol
Smokey (22-Apr) : Zero, please post the new 2018 Packers Schedule. Thank You
Smokey (22-Apr) : DRAFT "CHAT" this Thursday night !
gbguy20 (20-Apr) : you're probably right
TheKanataThrilla (19-Apr) : I was thinking Dez gbguy20
gbguy20 (19-Apr) : Bmarsh cut. preparing for obj extension?
Zero2Cool (19-Apr) : Week 1: at Packers — Sept. 9 (SNF)
Cheesey (19-Apr) : I don't know. I don't have HBO. I only have regular BO.
Smokey (19-Apr) : Who is HBO's 2018 "Hard Knocks" team ?
Zero2Cool (17-Apr) : Jimmy Graham on choosing Packers -- Why Green Bay instead of New Orleans? "#12 is hungry
DarkaneRules (17-Apr) : When he talked about missing guys he didn't mentioned Greg Jennings :)
Zero2Cool (17-Apr) : it won't though. thus, off-season = hate season
